I owned an '84 Plymouth Horizon and it was great in the snow. I used to drive around 4 wheel drive pickups stuck in deep snow. It was a Mitsubishi Engine, had a lot of pep for a compact. It rusted out, but the the engine and power train was rock solid until I traded it in five years later.
@inkey2 dude, they Dropped Plymouth soooo long ago... and yes Dodge is split up into "RAM" and "VIPER" its pretty gay... mainly because stupid fucks would rather buy piece of shit 'Rice burners' than REAL America Inginuity lol.....
@werto147 yeah, i knew plymouth was long gone.....dodge i didn't know about. It's a real shame what has happened to the American auto industry. R.I.P.
@jakesaintsrow123 I would, too. I had an '87 Horizon AND an '89 Reliant. The Reliant actually lived up to its moniker. I was kinda pissed that it didn't roll over into the 90s. But that's just me talkin'!
BTW, the Reliant was a more stable and DURABLE vehicle. I miss Plymouth!
Nice!! thats great to hear! i own a 1978 horizon right now!! that was the first year for the omni/horizon ..mine only has 144,000 kms on it..it runs and drives great!! the body has very little rust to!! its a 4 door model not a liftback like the omni 024....i have always been a huge fan of the chrysler cars from this Era!! they were great! my aunt and uncle bought a brand new either 85 or 86 reliant and it was bulletproof ...my brother had a 87 horizon as well and it was Great as well!
he also beat the crap out of the poop horizon! and it kept on going and going i still see lots of chryslers on the road from this Era!! i do admit it sucked when the 1990-94 plymouth acclaim and dodge spirit replaced the K-cars!! i have always liked the K-cars allot more!! the spirit/acclaim were great cars as well!! chrysler dosent build there cars like they used to! if they did they wouldnt of gone bankrupt a year ago! the reliant was most stable and durable then the horizon! both were good!
