@AKturkishwestLA i go there to study the coral reefs one of the biggest........if you look up the the islands on the map you will see about 7 big islands on one side and 2 smaller islands on the other...the smaller ones on the right are the turks islands the bigger ones on the left are called caicos islands.....these 2 groups of islands are called the Turks and Caicos islands...between the the 2 groups of island is a really deep passage called th columbus passage because columbus sailed though

It's interesting because there have been talks about Turks and Caicos joining Canada for nearly a hundred years now. An issue draged on for a long time and yet it hasn't died. I wonder what the people of Turks and Caicos think about the idea? Of course, the inhabitants could feel the same way a Canadian would feel if Canada was annexed by the U.S. (Which we hate)
