WOW, that was awesome. This is now my favorite version of this song. I've been craving those harmonies and no recording seems to be able to capture them as full and rich as they are. This one does.

I actually prefer the broadway version. The blocking in this seems a bit awkward, and the extra instruments doesn't get the same sort of tone as the more a cappella version does.

If anyone is interested, I can give them the link to this off-broadway version in full. It's excellent of course, but moreso its interesting to see the differences in staging, some of the songs, and it has the pirate song that was taken out in its conversion to broadway, replaced by guilty ones. Also it has the original cast all who went to broadway with the exception of the adult leads. WOOT! Write me if your interested
