Can you make them battle in multiplayer? Is there blood? Can I make a headress for my tiger out of other kinectimals killed in combat? Can I drown any unwanted offspring my kinectimals have? Can I dress it in battle armour? Can I grapht other kinectimals onto it like the russians did with dogs? Can I make it shit in the direction of the screen when people other than myself try play with it? Can I make it mate with other kinectimals?

Unless all the answer to all the above is "yes", then meh.

you can´t call that "lag" actually it´s the same problem as with all the next gen motion Controllers. The Player thinks he has more felxibility and oportunities as he actually does and thats why all of them are a kind of Fail. You don´t have to stand to play bowling or tennis with the wii for example. And with Natal I see more problems with the capturing systems. But well we´ll see.... :D

but i would not worry to much. they'll make some add-on (ps3 move-like) stuff for this in the future that will make it more accesable to hard line gamers and shooters will be even better.

You probably don't realise it but the 'casual family' audience is FAR greater in numbers than the hardcore audience is, we are the minority in the gaming community now.

Personally i LOVE violence and machine guns, Gears of war is my favourite franchise, but as long as people are still developing games for me then i couldn't give a shit about the casual audience.
