  • Cutco is not top quality, I have a set that wont hold a edge. I believe they are stamped as products that are forged usually say forged, there is no reference on the Cutco site about them being forged that I can find. I also see nothing about the steel formula and most quality knife makers state what the steel is but not Cutco that I can find. They are also very over priced for a very old tired looking design. I threw mine in a drawer and bought a set of Wusthof knives to replace them.

  • professional chefs dont use them because they sharpen there knives everyday regardless, so they dont need top quality.

  • @77cleetus If that is true then why do I see nothing but higher end knives in kitchens that I photograph in. Every kitchen I have shot in had very nice knife sets costing sometimes more than cutco and when I asked chefs about them they laughed.

Cutco is a ok set but not the best there is, you must sell for them.

  • Dude you're worse than the people on youtube that talk shit about vector. Stop talkin shit and go back to shankin the ball and playin wack fuck golf on you're home course that you still can't manage to break 90 on even though you've been playin forever.

  • Mr. Greg McMan...i love you....!

  • People who are saying its a scam are being morons. It's because their mad they didn't put in the work and the effort or don't want to that they bush a great company. If people had half a brain and did any RELIABLE research there is no way it could be a scam. Check the material. It's the best. Check how it works, you never really lose any money. Like it's ridiculous how stupid people are and talk without thinking.

  • it's not a scam but its not the greatest job in the world either! You make "appointments" (go door to door) to your friends and family and demonstrate the product. If you like the challenge then take the job if you don't walk away its not the job for you.

  • scam

  • The number one reason to buy cutco for me is THEY ARE MADE IN THE USA.

    NUF SAID

  • @mxracer472 USA FUCK YEAH!!!!!

  • Cutco is BBB rated Minxy you have to go to BBB and look it up and everyone who says it's made of crap marital is retarded the cutco knives were featured on " how it's made" and "modern marvels" so you do research before talk about something you don't know.

  • their not online because their a scam, most Vector Marketing Businesses that are knife based are not even accredited by the BBB

  • Well said!

  • do you know what cutco knives are made from...crap material thats why they suck and no one wants them.

  • sounds like he's selling cutco reps on his website.

  • I'm glad I'm not dumb enough to fall for any types of Pyramid schemes. I'm sorry, Multi level marketing schemes

  • @PoryGoon You narrowly dodged a liable case... In England...

  • Cutco is not a MLM

  • Cutco is not the best quality in the world. If you think that, I challenge you to research the materials used in the knife and compare that to material in many other knives. You will learn very soon how to spend you money wisely. Knives are an investment, don't skimp a few hundred bucks because you think it's a good idea. Pay the extra money and get an extra special product, not cutco.

  • OH, this guy's funny. He tried to use another marketing company to promote his own.

    Balls, man. You have them.

  • just follow the manual Cutco reps, and memorize page 21. thats what youve all heard a million times so do it.

  • this guy in the video is just trying to make a few quick dollars, dont ever buy anything of these people, do your own research, use google its a great tool! you dont need to purchase a book about online marketing, just do the research

  • cutco sucks ass..ronco all the way lol

  • We as representative are NOT allowed to market online being that we are all recognized as entrepreneurs with our own business we cut out the middle man. That gives us a huge opportunity to get our product out the right way. Many companies advertise online and never build repor with the customer, we do and that's what makes us the #1 rated cutlery in the world. We do what we do right and damn right we do it good. Let me know if your interested in anymore Cutco products. Have a nice day!

  • @domv9 Well said! I am a sales rep for Cutco products as well and again as this person mentioned, it is in our contracts. We are each strictly our own business and we do not market by any means other than ourselves face to face with our clients.

  • @domv9

you are the middle man. if there was no middle man we could order directly from the factory... but instead we gotta hear brainwashed college kids claim their knives are better because they can cut through rope. if cutco is so good.... then why doesn't a single professional chef use one? they are good knives, but way to expensive, and there are better knives.... for the same price.

  • @sirpilf You're an idiot. you have no idea how world wide retailing works. The extra price Wal-Mart charges has to pay for every other luxury (lighting, benefits, lawyers, IT specialists, building bigger buildings) they enjoy. We get a small cut of the cost, just like everyone in the world should when they do a good job, and hve none of that. In fact, most of us have better incentive because we are in college. It was nice having this discussion though. Have a nice day.

  • Market America is way.

  • Its called CUTCO.com the company will give any rep there own section on the website, and customers may only purchase online AFTER they have purchased from a catalog or a sales rep. This allows the rep to maintain an ongoing relationship with their customer. It makes the experience more personable. Something that most websites struggle to do.

  • Vector wasn't created just to make the high ups rich, it is designed to change the lives of thousands of college aged kids. Oh and good job getting those millions people online to view your video, it must be the best way to market!

  • I just bought a quartet from Cutco: French Chef 9+, the big vegetable cleaver, the cheese knife, and the peeler. I own Kyocera ceramics, Wusthof Ikon Classics, and Shun Gokujo. That vegetable cleaver is the sharpest damn thing I have ever taken out of plastic packaging. That includes the Kyocera, which I find shocking.

  • I just joined CUTCO and made my first 200 bucks this weekend so Vector Marketing is NOT a scam

  • 1st grade knifes but shitty grade employment.

  • @xXMrGreenEyes24Xx <--- 1st grade education XD

  • @xXMrGreenEyes24Xx ooh, not even that. They're soft stainless steel. Carbon steels keep their edges longer. The ONLY two good things about Cutco knives is the ergonomic handle and the unique serrations.

  • @cliffcox66 Actually cutco knives are made of high carbon surgical stainless steel. (the same type of material used in surgical tools). if they were carbon, they'd rust, pit, and corrode, which are three things cutco will never do.

  • @jhluvsalice haha, they cannot be both high carbon and stainless. That's why they're stainless. Stainless surgical scalpels are notorious for losing their edge quickly. Thats why they're disposed of. ANY stainless will lose it's edge fast next to carbon. Check your facts young man.

  • @cliffcox66 They can be both, that is why Cutco is expensive and high quality. Like stainless it wont rust pit or corrode, and it's easy to clean and like carbon it'll hold a sharp edge and stay both sanitary and sharp. check cutco.com, there are videos of cutco featured on modern marvels and how it's made of the exact type of material used in all cutco knives.

  • @jhluvsalice cool you've read the script and went through the training

  • @jhluvsalice you forgot to mention about its DD Edge!

    =D

  • the website tells you to give your email address so that he can email you all the secrets... im assuming this email comes with a massive amount of spam

  • i dont know why so many people think that cutco is a scam. i actually work with this company and its pretty amazing the only problem is getting customers i guess. its a really awesome line of cutlery. help me out lol

  • yeah. you have to stay within referrals right? online advertisement isn't aloud i don't think. Let me know.

  • no you are not allowed to do that, not with vector marketing

  • oh and you are a very overweight person...fyi

  • cutco sucks ass.

  • the product fails in every review.

  • @motorboatinfun no it doesent.

  • Ya except were not allowed to advertise cutco online were not even allowed to say that were are employs of cutco.

cutco is awsome but vector sucks

  • amen brother
