I got a pair of the new BD Defends by li ning... better than all my pairs of nikes... I hope white kids dont catch on so i can be the only person in my area with them
Man these shoes are sick! I hope it never catches on in the US so they stay cheap. American kids especially suburban dicks don't know shit. They thnk Nike is American when all their shit is deigned and made in China. They just charging more so they make max profit. The real gangsta shit is straight outta China. That shits straight up nigger.
I rather spend $90 on nike than $85 on their shoes. plus the "water proof" shoes are made from foam... it's like the same material they make those cheap kids croc shoes from.
Those are some bad ass futuristic shoes. I can't wait for Wal-Mart carry them. I have a Chinese brand TCL 40" LCD TV that is exceptional. And it cost half of what a Sony would have cost.
lol Nice promo. I checked out their site and found some I liked, others are just OK.
What's with all the China hate? There are plenty of quality Chinese products. For example, my MP3 player plays BluRay 1080p rips, has HDMI and has a built-in amp and BBE equalizer for audio. Cost me $70 bucks and is a hell of a lot better as a media player than my old iPod nano. Also, you realize that most "U.S." companies outsource to China, right? Why must everyone involve politics? They're just shoes.
They unfortunately don't look very nice. And until China cleans their government and practices up I'm not going to be supporting one of their companies.
@SneakyMrPanda so you'd rather buy nikes that's still made in china? or sony that's made in china?
you know, you may not buy stuff from a chinese company which provides money to the evil chinese government, but you buy stuff from a non-chinese company which provides money to the evil chinese government.
A lot of Sony stuff is actually made in Japan, as well as Malaysia and other countries. And, with China's recent bullying of Japan, Japan has recently (very recently) begun to shift as much of it's production plants and so forth out of China as it can, as well as begun to import raw materials from countries other than China.
why did your argument change to a "china vs japan" tone? and then i saw your channel lol! but i'll humor you.
"a lot of stuff" is not equal to "most of the stuff" :)
and the fact that they'd still go in there and provide money the chinese government, and also the fact that the tables have turned and now you're in the point of no return, it just sounds like you're in a sour path right now
import raw materials from other countries? sure, except rare earths ;) ;) ;) ;)
The only thing I don't like about Samsung is they are basically a Korean copy of Sony. Samsung started as a grocery trading company in Korea, but then as they saw success by Sony in Japan in the electronics business, and switched to producing electronics. Now Samsung is just THE huge Korean monopoly. They produce electronics, boats, oil drillers, cars, apparel, buildings, and different forms of insurance. So they have enough money to do whatever they want.
@M3diaCultur3 By copy I mean they haven't introduced anything new. Sony made the first commercially successful radios and sound equipment, and introduced so many new technologies to the TV market, even redesigning how TVs were made, and Sony went on to introduce and popularize things such as CD, DVD, and blue ray. Samsung really hasn't introduced anything new in the TV market.
@SneakyMrPanda yeah, but the tv market was dominated by american brands. the auto market were dominated by american/european brands. they introduced it, and the japanese brands used that concept too, albeit, did start new innovations. just like what samsung is doing now.
@M3diaCultur3 I guess you're right. The main point I guess I was trying to make is I think Samsung doesn't release very high quality TVs haha. Samsung makes good phones, Sony makes bad phones. Sony makes good TVs, Samsung makes bad ones.
@M3diaCultur3 Samsung doesn't make Sony TVs. They make the LCD screens for some Sony TVs, but not the TVs themselves. Just like how Sony chips are found in some Samsung products.
What is it that Apple does now that Sony used to do?
Every company has their days. Apple and Samsung are doing well now, though they'll fall behind in the coming years. Then another company will take their place. And so on and so on. No company will ever be top forever. Heck, Sony just released the NGP. They may see their glory days again in the coming years. Who knows.
Wow we are very off topic. I apologize to everyone who is watching this for the shoe commercial.
@6irondriver 75% of their shoes are made in China and Vietnam. The 25% that claim to be made in the U.S are labeled “MADE IN USA OF IMPORTED MATERIALS” = American slapping a sticker on a shoe that was made in China. It's just a way of marketing to ignorant people like you and Maimino1984
I would rather buy these shoes designed and made by a Chinese company than pay for an American brand that outsourced U.S jobs. There both made in China—think about it and vote this up.
Fuck you all. It's not China's fault that they keep shipping fake shit here or lead infested shit here. It's America's fault for taking their companies there. It's America's fault for buying cheap shit from there to sell here for double the price. Who's the idiot here? Quit blaming China for all your fucking problems.
You guys are SO CLOSED MINDED. Do you China, Germany, Spain say: "Let's not bring Nike, or McDonalds' unhealthy food to our country because we want to support local production? Really? Reaallyyyy?
For example, French farmers protest and block imported (cheaper) vegetables. Italians block import of cheese and ask the locals to buy local.
What do you think tariffs are? It's the gov's way to dissuade consumers from buying imported goods. If you buy a BMW automobile in South Korea, you have to pay import tax of 50%~100% of the purchase price.
Is this supposed to make me want to buy them? All it does is make US Customs agents look like morons that abuse their positions. Yeah, that's a GREAT way to try to win over the US market.
as a Chinese customer I guarantee you that Li-Ning is the brand of the best quality in China--no worse than any Nike/Adidas I've worn. The other point is it DOESN'T COPY Nike/Adidas like many other brands do. Its problems in Chinese market is that it's only slightly cheaper than its American competitors--people would rather spend a little more to get what Bryant and Howard represent...or spend much less for a PEAK or Anta, both signed NBA players like Battier, Artest, Garnett...
The other shoes look like crap, BUT those blue running shoes look AWESOME! I cant lie i want them :D....also many american shoe makers have already made shoes out of solid rubber or whatever it is they use so this is not anything amazingly new or "Chinese"
DO NOT BUY CHINESE GOODS!!!!!!!! PEOPLE LISTEN UP, COME UP WITH YOUR OWN IDEAS AND KEEP STARTING SMALL BUSINESSES AND BRING OUR COUNTRY BACK! LET SOMEONE ELSE PLAY PUPPET MASTER WITH CHINA AND THE REST OF THE WORLD, NOT AMERICA!! AND IF WE CANT DO THAT, THEN ENFORCE STRICT TARRIFFS. WE DONT WANT YOUR STUFF CHINA!
@tony426h What about the other countries with American products and franchises? I went to Peru a couple years back and saw a McDonald's. I also ate at a Pizza Hut in Poland 5 years ago.
Yet more proof that Mandarin Chinese, and not Spanish will be the official language in the United States of America by the time my grandkids are in college. I'd jump on the "buy Made in the USA" bandwagon, but everything in my home (and yours) has at least one item/or is comprised of items that were made in China. We need to get our act right as a country, or else our kids will be rockin Li-Nings instead of Jordans and Air Force Ones-lmao. "I'm Li-Ning towards kicking your ass"...that is funny.
i love all the 'don't buy chinese junk' comments. where the fcuk do you think your nikes and adidas were made? everything you wear was made somewhere else. we've had a global economy for thirty years. open your eyes.
@mike7743 New Balance is made in the US, by US workers. It means that people that I know have jobs and can make a living instead of some dood in China who gets 5 cents an hour and works 14 hours a day.
@maimino1984 "There are four core subcontracted factories in China, one in Vietnam, and one in the U.S. In total, about 75% of all our shoes are produced in factories not owned by New Balance." the one in the U.S. in California is owned by a Chinese supplier. only 1/4 of new balance sales in the U.S. are manufactured here. (info quoted from their foreign manufacturing policy)
@maimino1984 Only New Balance huh? Nike? Converse? Made in China by Chinese workers with American demands. Do u think they wanna make 5cent/hr and 14hrs/day? Who is demanding those shoes?
more chinese garbage flooding the US market. instead of being made of lead, cadmium, or melamine, my guess is these shoes burst into flames when you wear them.
I don't really see a resemblance to the nike swoosh, so I don't have any gripe there, I'm just going to avoid these because nothing but garbage comes out of china
more chinese garbage flooding the US market. instead of being made of lead, cadmium, or melamine, my guess is these shoes burst into flames when you wear them.
more chinese garbage flooding the US market. instead of being made of lead, cadmium, or melamine, my guess is these shoes burst into flames when you wear them.
I think the product is nice, and funny that they put so much attention on the USA market but they totally forget about American foot sizes. Try to buy a Li-Ning shoe in a 12 or bigger! Basketball shoes??Hello !!!?? Is anyone home? Typical!
Another Chinese knock-off brand. There are over a dozen of these Chinese companies that have almost identical logos to Nike. Good luck going after Nike! Your new basketball shoes look like shitty Crocs!
I bet this comment doesn't last a day. Li-Ning just like the Chinese government will censor it off. I am in China now and have to use a VPN just to get on Youtube!

more chinese garbage flooding the US market. instead of being made of lead, cadmium, or melamine, my guess is these shoes burst into flames when you wear them.
I don't really see a resemblance to the nike swoosh, so I don't have any gripe there, I'm just going to avoid these because nothing but garbage comes out of china
