One of the worse episodes...very few interesting MacGyverisms (the cracking of a combination lock was done much better in Human Nature), a dull female support cast member, and a dubious, easily escaped trap at the end (the "gas room") so easily thwarted I have trouble believing it.

What country is that diplomat guy that Amir guy from? I spent the whole show thinking he was from South Africa cause the flag in that place is so similar to the South African flag, but it was bugging me cause his accent wasn't right, but then when I saw the flag again at the end I realized it wasn't the SA flag. The flag on here had three normal stripes, on the SA flag the green stripe down the middle is sort of forked toward the end and it has a thing white stripe on either side of it.

He's from Genubia, which is a fictional country. They give the name. I have a feeling it's a former British colony, possibly based on South Africa, due to the diamonds and the love of squash and so forth.
