I think this on the wrong speed. This sounds like the chipmunks. The version I have is slowed down which give's it a little more funk. I would pass out trying to keep up with this on the dance floor.

This song will forever remind me of the Michael Jackson era, because I saw High Inergy sing this on Motown 25 at the height of MJ's career. I know it's an unusual association, but I think of MJ in his hey day as an adult solo artist, with high energy movement, whenever I hear this song.

This song is from High Inergy last album with Motown Groove Patrol. Vernessa of course is still singing gospel. I check on the internet and found out Linda Howards works for Amtrak. Even though Barbara Mitchell release a solo after High Inergy broke I don't know what happened to her as well as Michelle Martin. They should reunite.

Funkier than the live version from Motown 25. I got the shorter version on mp3, but this longer lp version slightly speeded up is much better!!!
