When u Fight Wehrmacht.. Russian can easily out numbers the Wehr.. Which is bad... Russian Sniper team r tougher than any other snipers, and shoot Faster. But cant use the cammo ability.. I try using 1 Sniper Team vs 1 Volks Team Sniper WIN.
Snipers can also take out the MG42.. Easily And Tank Hunters r very good in numbers and they come Cheap... Plus T-34 is cheap tank and sort of better than the Shermans

@AnimeGod1995 well one time i had my king tiger face to face and it got destroyed first. well its realist indeed since in theory the larger the target, the easier to hit and IS2 is the improve version of earlier russian KV tanks. and oh they do have the 1st heavy tank not the germans. but using tiger tank is really good even though IS2 is stronger and tougher, tiger tank accuracy is better so using it smart still make it a better than against IS2 with the help of a panther. thats how i do it.

Actually, the bombing didnt do so very much as most factories were moved underground and manned by slave workers. Sure, the western allies helped out, but kudos really should go to the Soviets - just like in WWI the French and British did the most part and the Americans just moved in at the last moment to mop up the rest.

@rod3067 The US, Britain, and Soviets had to hold on equally. If one fell, the rest did. If Hitler took Britain, he was practically unopposed in Western Europe, and could take North Africa and then take Russia fairly easily, then just leaving the US. If Russia fell, the opposite occurred, and Nazi Germany concentrated solely on the west with the additional help of Soviet fodder. It was a matter of staying in teh game, not to simply kick back the Nazis.

Russians shouldn't be over powered, the only reasons why the Russians beaten back the Germans was because they was fighting for they're homeland, They where pumping out tanks like mad and the whole "not one step back!" propaganda in Stalingrad. Germans had quality, the Russians had quantity.
That is exactly what happened in real life at Stalinggrad, Kursk, etc.
Conscript waves kept the Germans pinned down at the cities, and then t34 waves surrounded them and chewed them up (literally, almost no prisoners taken)

this looks awsome just 2 things. i noticed the missle lanchers on the the katyusha dont lift when you shoot them. and it would be better if you put new gameplay music this is just like the music played when you play as the panzer elite
when i load eastern front, it loads well, then when it comes to the menu it says insert the correct opposing front disk, and when i say owk it goes out and says insert blank disk. I did not make the patch 2.601 because it says I have 1.0.0.2 version of COH. I dont know why. Can someone help me please because i am getting mad of dont playing this Mod. Thanks a lot.

@thegreatman99 Mate, me and my buddies normally choke point and spank expert bots. If you're not aware expert bots have unlimited fkn resources or some shit. We only found this out with the Soviets...... So, soviet meant to take time to build up. We got SWARMED by strelsky, and sniper teams and MORTAR. We died very quickly.
@thegreatman99 have you heard of an MG42 team? you can easily pin down any infantry except guards. The key to beating the Soviets is to defeat them early on. Things will get ugly if you drag the game too long.
@Acornoa well, at that time, you have at least one Ostwind or several armored cars to make quick work out of infantries. I am an Axis player, and use motorcycles(gasp! and sometimes with volks) to harass and kill conscripts and ingeneries in the early stages of war. I find sniper very useful for hunting down the heavy mortars the Russians have behind the line. Since the grenades they have are not terribly powerful unless en masse, they are little more than unsuppressable American rifleman squad.
@xiaogunman Using that argument to justify the difficulty is stupid. I could say the same thing about the Germans and how they fought. I could say the same thing about the Tiger Tank which in real life obliterated Shermans, yet in the game Tiger Tank shells seem to sometimes bounce off Shermans..
If you're saying that the difficulty is justified, then hell, a lot of things will need to be changed with the German factions as well since they've been 'underpowered' in the game to make things fair.
EF mod searches the 2.601 version of coh to be able to play as soviet in that mod and that sucks because the cracks for that version are sponsored! So there is a small number of gamers been able to even play as soviets in this mod! well if u have an original game???:D

The EF mod is hugely unbalanced and it isn't fun. At all. The only thing I like about it are the maps, and I already got them to work with Blitz and N44 so I'm happy.

A lot of soviets (baltic states, ukraine) didnt want to fight germans. Some of them ( ~500.000 but cant remember egzacly how many) joined the ranks of germans hoping for a better life than that with Stalin!
it's not made by relic. Relic is wonderful (god bless em), but as all companies do, they try to make everything balanced. So the americans and wehrmacht inevitably had little definition or anything interesting.

this looks awsome just 2 things. i noticed the missle lanchers on the the katyusha dont lift when you shoot them. and it would be better if you put new gameplay music this is just like the music played when you play as the panzer elite

when i load eastern front, it loads well, then when it comes to the menu it says insert the correct opposing front disk, and when i say owk it goes out and says insert blank disk. I did not make the patch 2.601 because it says I have 1.0.0.2 version of COH. I dont know why. Can someone help me please because i am getting mad of dont playing this Mod. Thanks a lot.

soviets are fuckin overpowered. it may be fun to play as them but try playing against them.
i can't even fucking beat a normal (yet i can beat hard american and brits) because they just keep spamming cheap infantry and then before you know it they have fuckin t34s wtf.
haven't played against people yet but against computers it's bs.

@thegreatman99 Mate, me and my buddies normally choke point and spank expert bots. If you're not aware expert bots have unlimited fkn resources or some shit. We only found this out with the Soviets...... So, soviet meant to take time to build up. We got SWARMED by strelsky, and sniper teams and MORTAR. We died very quickly.

@thegreatman99 have you heard of an MG42 team? you can easily pin down any infantry except guards. The key to beating the Soviets is to defeat them early on. Things will get ugly if you drag the game too long.

@Acornoa well, at that time, you have at least one Ostwind or several armored cars to make quick work out of infantries. I am an Axis player, and use motorcycles(gasp! and sometimes with volks) to harass and kill conscripts and ingeneries in the early stages of war. I find sniper very useful for hunting down the heavy mortars the Russians have behind the line. Since the grenades they have are not terribly powerful unless en masse, they are little more than unsuppressable American rifleman squad.

@xiaogunman Using that argument to justify the difficulty is stupid. I could say the same thing about the Germans and how they fought. I could say the same thing about the Tiger Tank which in real life obliterated Shermans, yet in the game Tiger Tank shells seem to sometimes bounce off Shermans..
If you're saying that the difficulty is justified, then hell, a lot of things will need to be changed with the German factions as well since they've been 'underpowered' in the game to make things fair.

EF mod searches the 2.601 version of coh to be able to play as soviet in that mod and that sucks because the cracks for that version are sponsored! So there is a small number of gamers been able to even play as soviets in this mod! well if u have an original game???:D

The EF mod is hugely unbalanced and it isn't fun. At all. The only thing I like about it are the maps, and I already got them to work with Blitz and N44 so I'm happy.

In 1941 soviet union did not get steam rollered. USRR had more and sometimes better tanks, planes, guns, smallarms, supplies, radios, manpower etc.
They mass surrendered becouse they hoped that germans will create a better goverment on occupied lands!

the russian produced around 100,000 tanks and SP guns in ww2. America around 90,000.
it depends on your definition of steam rolled. the russians were certainly annihilated and pushed back all the way to moskau in 1941

Don know what is your definition of annihilation. For me to surrender and to be annihilated are to different things.
A lot of soviets (baltic states, ukraine) didnt want to fight germans. Some of them ( ~500.000 but cant remember egzacly how many) joined the ranks of germans hoping for a better life than that with Stalin!
