  • Its -27c

  • R U or did you use zoom on the camera? I find it is too jerky for closeups. Good video Thanks for sharing.

  • @chrisnzella It was my black berry camera, so very poor quality, now I make all my new videos in High Definition, and thank you!

  • why?

  • So...it wasn't -37 at all then.

  • @lazaglider it was -37 for me, cant say so for the tractor or not haha

  • @laakeri84 Oh i know wind chill doesn't affect it, just the person turning keys does it suck to, and the person outside running the equipment too. I've started my 6.5 non turbo in -43C (no wind chill on that one, think with wind chill that night it dipped down to -49C ) coldest I have ever seen/been in, and the truck wasnt plugged in, lets just say it took a few glow plug cycles to get her to start, and when it did it was rough, but it did.

@chris64346 Post me a video response to this one

  • dude you should check out my husqurvarna start up look up chris64346 te first beging it say im the oil man because im a redneck john deere rocks nice tractor

  • Wind chill doesn't affect engine starting (without preheating). When it's -27C, it's -27C. It doesn't matter if there was any wind or not. Wind chill only makes your skin lose temperature faster. I've once started an old car (with gasoline engine) without any preheating when it was somewhere between -30 and -35C, and it sounded quite awful. Of course I always use block heater when I have time for that, but that one time I didn't have.

  • You're a tough man to work a farm in cold weather.

  • I like that long crank!

  • I run synthetic 0-40 in our 7320. Better in the winter for sure.....extracting grain bags is an all winter job...cold or not....have done a fair share of them myself.

  • Ya man we gotta do the same cause our Deere doesn't have an oil pan heater so we bought one of the magnet ones. Seems to help a bit

  • @Pankiw12

I Recommend a circulating block heater, I am surprised it doesn't melt the hoses! Works fantastic, you can actually feel the block anywhere and its warm.
