@aidanad95 think about it, it took many months to produce these fight scenes, so for the anime it would cost way too much money and time to make the fight scenes by hand, maybe thats why used 3-D Models for the anime fight scenes

@Justakez The truth is that there isn't any definitive plot to the franchise. A guy just created these characters and drew them fighting each other because he felt like it, another guy made a song about the first character and the whole thing exploded with popularity on the internet. They exist and fight because it's cool. The manga, OVA, anime and games are create different stories as to who they are and why they fight, but they're essentially just fighting because it's cool.

@Justakez Its more like Dead Master (aka Yomi), doesn't want to return to reality. Mato adopts the persona of BRS to follow Yomi into this alternate world and bring her best friend home. When Yomi refuses, the two fight.

The girl who fights with BRS in the beginning with the red eyes is Black Gold Saw. The girl with the green eyes in Dead Master. BGS does not appear in the OVA again after she fights with BRS. She was the one who gave BRS her scars. The rest of the OVA had Black Rock Shooter fighting Dead Master.

@bloodi01 Its just an OVA based on the song. These scenes are just in between the OVA, so its not the whole OVA. I so recommend watching the full thing, its very intresting!! Oh and its basically a 60min Anime episode type thing.

@mattzero16 I guess because Dead ★ Master has a weapon, B★RS is more cautious since she has longer range of effect with it as its a long-pole weapon. When she's disarmed, it's most proabable that B★RS let her guard down since she has no weapon and got taken by surprise or something, This is my theory since that would happen to me if I was B★RS. :P
