  • OH noes!!! 62 miles per hour!

  • Haha isn't this clip from the CP24 intro? :P

  • official party poopers, nice job guys.

  • I bet the crown was perfectly Working after this handsome manoeveur

  • Gotta love chicken shit cowards. Look all cool and tough when they do something wrong, but when chased by cops they run like chicken shits because they are affraid of the law LOL. Be a man and face what you did wrong.

  • LOL I know him hahaha

  • and their probably already out by now rippin' cars off and stealing shit all for the mighty drugs. What a fucked up world we live in.

  • should have slammed the brakes and drove around him...

  • not like them americans who let the chase go on for hours harming bystanders

    good job OPP!

btw isn't the speed limit 100 km? lol

  • not like them americans who let the chase go on for hours harming bystanders

    good job OPP!

  • OVER 100 KM/H??? NO WAYYY!

  • lol this was funny a stolen car on the 401 passing the opp station that has its own personal on ramp lol

  • the chase reached speeds of over the speed limit! uhm yeah... buddy doing 150 in his 1990 caravantook more risk than this guy ;)

  • Dont mess with Canadian Cops lol

  • They did not! He was just resisting lololololol

  • @windigo99 lmao lmao they are so fkd...

  • thats my ex boyfriends brother!!! LMAO they beat him up badd!!

  • lol... over 100 km/h....how dangerous

  • Reached speeds of over 100 kmh!!!!!! Insanity!!! What were they driving in Lamborghinis?!?!?!

  • @Mattitude75 LMAO

  • go OPP.

  • love it.

  • lol they can`t catch me :p lol

  • Run Tommy Run!!!

  • canadian police aint like the american

they just let the guy drive until he runs outta gas or crashes killing innocent people, by the time the pursuit ends, they've traveled half of america

  • that'll teach him not to take the last donut.

  • Great job OPP! Thankfully no one was seriously injured. The officers deserve recognition for sure!

  • damb straight, canada rocks, ey

  • :D That was awesome.

  • Nice job guys!!!!!!!

  • Yea OPP For the Win!

  • Yeah spike strip then smash into on coming traffic then they have to shut down the highway, and get alot more of investigators out, and just imagine if there was a death. This was a controled stop. Dont you ever watch cops or any show like that? Look how many times people get spike stripped but manage to take out other people on the road, or crash into something else. Spike strips do not stop them right away. This made sure he had no where to go. Cannot believe you call this a "cowboy maneuver".

  • @Sneak693 ah Spikes don't stop the car only takes off the tires the guy will be driving with the rim for another half an hour

  • @CovertOPSDragunov or it will pop and buddy and because of the speed that hes driving at he might not be able to compensate his steering in time and lose control and hit civilians... why risk that?

  • @Sneak693 yah spike strips are best to be used on highways cause the guy will lose control and crash into something if they use it on residential streets way to dangerous

  • what he did protected everyone on the road, and ended it so he could not hurt anyone. It was a great take down. With spikes he can move and hit another car or flip into traffic. This is probably one of the best take downs you will ever see.

  • @Sneak693 yah Spikes don't stop the car only takes off the tires the guy will be driving with the rim for another half an hour

  • FAIL! HAHA BITCH :D

  • lol. 100 kilometers per hour is like 62 miles per hour.

  • @crand123 LMAO

  • lmao

  • Little while ago, my Dad pulled someone over for having no front plates, and the guy took off on him, York Regional Police was disptached. The guys i think was wanted

  • Damn good police driving.

  • when was this?

  • Pretty sure it happened not too long before I posted it... so mid 2007.

  • haha i was listening to the waterloo regional police department and herd when the OPP was making the calls in during this, it was awesome!

  • @s1kproductions why would you? are you another criminal? just kidding.

  • damn that was badass....you down with OPP??

  • YES SIR!

  • Great job!

  • I think that happened faster than the cop expected, totally on the fly. @ 0:20 you can see how the cruiser is bouncing and wobbling, he had to crank it right at that point just to stabilize his car never mind pin the guy. There was a lot of luck there but also a lot of instinct on the part of the cop, a true veteran. i remember when this was on the news and the officer was interviewed he was totally humble. But also excited talking about it like a kid scoring the winning goal.

  • the unmarked police crusiers are driven by opp that receive special training for handling pursuits like this, how often do you see getaways on the 401? hahaha, ur screwed trying to run from opp basically

  • thats SICK!

  • dont know if u guys heard but there was one on friday january 9th 2009

  • "Stop resisting! stop resisting!" as he kicks him in the head lol 0:44

  • I'm no fan of police brutality but this time he deserved that shit...

  • lol, over 100km/h? aka the speed limit of the 401?

  • Speed limit is 100 KPH/62 MPH , but nobody drives that on the 401. I never go slower than 70 MPH. doing so will get my ass ran over by a semi.

  • no kidding the truckers are always booking it regardless of the weather

  • I do believe this is Peel Regional Police, not OPP...Sorry but at least give credit when credit is due!!

  • Nope, it was OPP in the unmarked white Crown Vic... they had the Officer on the News in another broadcast a few days after the incident... The chase began in Whitby (Durham Region) then headed west on the 401 and ended by Neilson (the east end of Toronto)... So it was no where near Peel Region.

  • OPP bud. Get the facts straight.

  • peel wouldnt be anywhere near neilson...

  • if i remember correctly he was a Whitby OPP

  • @youngron11562 it was both the opp and a municipal police service. you can tell from the blue stripe on the leg of the opp and the red stripe from the municipal officers pant leg.

  • @youngron11562 No, it's OPP. Look at the shoulder flashes on the uniform.

  • O.P.P,they are Best. Before the Crowns the O.P.P ran my type of Cop car,the Plymouth Fury. The were alot tougher than the fords and could haul ass with the interceptor 440's and would walk all over the fords.Dodge maybe in trouble but then again so are the rest of them.

3 Months ago I saw this video and it is still an amazing piece and such ballsy manouvers by the officer driving and the rest...What a Team...Yeah bring back the Black & Whites.

Just the sight of the cars commanded respect.

  • wow that cop is my hero

  • jhahah scru the pit manover, just ram them to the center divider

  • canadians kick asas!

  • Crown victorias rule sweet cars and sweet stop.!

  • When are any of these idiots and any in he future going to learn that, you will NEVER beat the RADIO and the to UNDERSTAND that cops are trained for just this kind of stuff.

Brilliant driving and ballsy on the cops part...Nice one.

  • That is what law enforcement is all about. The problem is , people who would cause a police officer that much trouble , just sit in jail and do time for these things. Some of them are completely useless and cost us taxpayers lots of money.

  • yaeh somehow most of the times canadians seem to have grown slightly bigger balls and brains at the same time...dunno why...their films beat most hollywood stuff too..

  • thats awsome!!

  • you never see american police do that kind of shit...nice

  • Get off the American act . State Troopers are some of the nastiest cops you'll ever wanna cross. If you travel in the US you will see that they are an extremely professional bunch without question. Even though this video did show that driver being treated as he should have been. Notice the age of the driver , he wasn't a young guy at all , like 18.

  • word! that was intense.

  • you must not live here than

  • lol the speed limit is 100

  • @hotshotsgolfer 1110 Kmph= 62.5 MPH

  • @Pookatube lol thanks for that cap'n obvious. I was pointing out the fact that they were going the limit.

  • @Pookatube lol?

  • @Pookatube no...1110 kmph is 689 miles per hour...=p

  • @hotshotsgolfer aahahahahahah.

  • Good old OPP! I live near there!

  • Thank you! I am an opp officer who has been on the force for 3 years now.

  • I took Police Foundations and wrote my GATB test for the OPP but never amounted to anything LOL...

  • Very good, tell me what you get!

  • Absolutely , the guy runs away from the cops and thinks it's OK. I wanna see "Court TV" as a new channel so that people can see what some drivers do on the roads. It's sick. And , what our courts do about this.

  • Awesome! Now this is what I call a take down! I live in the US and I've never seen an American Law Enforcement Dept. do anything like this. This makes the Pit look like shit! lol :D.

  • now thats a take down

  • very nice work!

  • people like this shouldnt be on our roads

  • nice pit manoeveur

  • Definitely a different was of going about it, that's for sure!

  • That wasn't a PIT, just a good old slam. I always wonder why people think they can outrun the cops in their cars.

  • Actually, they were going over 100 km/h... Which is pretty normal for the 401... People normally do about 130 km/h! It was important for the Police to quickly stop this vehicle, since it was heading towards an accident scene a short distance away, that's why there just happened to be a camera crew there (right place at the right time!).
