  • Is the one with the "Belfast phenomenon" on here anywhere?

  • @davidn87

It is, I´ve seen it, but don´t ask me where, maybe episode 8 or 9 or so...

  • i remember that clip of the american woman talking about politics, one of my fave clips

  • 6:30 is an outtake from a Yorkshire TV children's programme called Get Up & Go! which started in April that year on Thursday lunchtimes, was presented by Beryl Reid and also had a green puppet Mooncat. As a 3 year old in 1981 I used to like that programme, which was in the same slot as Rainbow. The man seen in the clip is Stephen Boxer who has appeared in various programmes including Doctors and Prime Suspect. The clip seemed to appear annually in various IBAOTN editions up to the mid 1990s.

  • Brilliant - Thank you for making me chuckle! :)

  • which episode is it where the germans or dutch people are showing how to open a milk carton and get it very wrong? thanks

  • Great theme. I finally found this after years of searching! If anyone wants to hear it in full and "in the clear" search for Graham De Wilde - Export Interntational. Cheers

  • Fantastic title sequence and theme tune! The one they used for Late at Night was probably more in keeping with the tone of the show but this one is so gala night it's great. They are clearly celebrating their American success and the international co-operation that went into making it!

  • Fabulous theme tune and title sequence; the theme that they used for Late at Night was maybe more suited but this one was fantastically gala night, They were certainly drunk on the success the show had in the States and on the international co-operation that went into making it!

  • great. im looking for a clip where an aussie guy is trying to find a new home for a cat...he says he a friendly little bugger and the cat attacks him and the guy screams..its a classic...any ideas????

  • @100roberthenry i think that might be number 8

  • Does anyone know the name of the host?

  • Dennis Norden. I walked past him once on Tottenham Court Road. He's about 6'5" - which was surprising.

  • does anyone know which series the mayor of skegness says what a shit hole skegness is.

  • 0:02 It would be great if that sound glitch was actually part of the jingle

  • "yes I would kate, and I would strangle that ****ing duck"

    XD

  • Wow, the theme tune was like Miami Vice!

  • I think Christmas is a wonderful thing...

    LOL!

I think I've seen all the ...On the Night shows, but this is great to rewatch.

  • Drax, I think I may have the first programme if you're interested.

  • Norden is the king of the clip...

  • "poor and slaves, poor and free i should say."

    that was funny

  • XD

Love the one about x-mas, "they should have it every year"

  • Great theme / opening - one for TV purists!

  • this is fantastic reallyyyyyyyy

  • Don't blame the audience, it is canned laughter and the editor ballsed up.

  • Stupid audience, laughing in all the wrong places.

The roulette ball is supposed to bounce around like that...well, maybe not QUITE like that, but still, they laughed to early!

But thanks for the clips! ;-)

  • They're laughing because it's taking so long

  • The anticipation of whats going to happen.

  • LOL AT 7:45.

"And Uh... We must survive whatever the enemy may throw at you!"
