It's not the only victory, there have been 3 against Eurpoean nations including whooping Italy by 9 goals. GB and England have historically won dozens of matches against other 'minor' handball nations.

@Lesdyxic1 sorry, it was the first win for a qualifier. friendlies don't really count. but you had actually one match in 1984 where you won italy with 2 goals for world championship qualification. But it still barely counts.
