These data and the theory is consistent with my idea that if you traveled back in time and did something "small" like squashing a bug, it would change the future but PROBABLY not enough that you wouldn't recognize it (assuming you could return to a time stream VERY close to the one you first left). Contrarily, preventing Lincoln/Kennedy assassinations, however, would produce ripples large enough to radically change the future.
