  • I adopted my cat May 31st of this year from my local humane society. She is 3 yrs. old. I decided to adopt an adult cat because they are usually passed over for kittens.

I grew up with cats and missed having a cat around. She is all I could ask for in a cat.

She's lovable and wants attention all the time. She greets me at the door when I come home from work. I rescued her life and she rescued my heart. :)

  • Your awesome!!

  • im sorry, but it looks like a little jail!! or can they com in and out??

  • @inalagata

They can come out. The whole side of house has a 10 foot high fence =)

  • @FBBMyspace thanks!! it´s good to now. Thanks for your work helping cats, i do the same couse i love animals!! the only animal i dont like its a roach!!! but i feed almost 15 cats and 3 or 4 dogs, they all are abandoned and living in the street, poor animals!!

    thanks again!!

  • @inalagata

No problem, questions are always welcome here, keep up the great work yourself =)

  • I see not only that are you wonderfully compassionate, generous, and kind but humble, too. I thought of you and what you'd done in your video for quite a while yesterday after watching it. It's too bad that more people weren't like you. Hope you're still going the extra mile for the poor strays a good many people in our world care nothing about. As I've already said......you ROCK!!

  • @snooker48

    Of course I am =)

Animals are angels that haven't gotten their wings yet. I feel like the true measure of a person is gauged by how they treat those smaller then themselves.

I have a very good life and I feel very lucky to have the things that I have and I really believe it's all the good karma I get from these guys =)

  • @FBBMyspace

Yes, I watched a number of your other videos after I made my last comment, and see that you do a lot for animals. I think you're pretty special. I like your philosophy and wish more people were like you. Hopefully, watching your videos inspires others. Keep up the awesome work.

  • You seriously ROCK big time, buddy!!!!!!!

  • @snooker48

Thanks for the kind words. Just doing what I can to help those in need =)

  • You are a great person for looking after these stray cats, love yu for it!

  • @snezana9

  • @lyndsymacarthur

Thank you for the kind words, it means a lot to me =)

  • good job man i subed, nice enclosure you built

  • @BALJIT147

Thanks man. Next best thing I can do for them. Inbetween living outside and inside but they are 100% safe and thats what I wanted for them =)

  • @FBBMyspace its better then some of the other conditions peoples animals live in

  • @BALJIT147

Oh man these guys are happy. I was surprised John Junior the cat with the 1 ear adjustted so fast.

My job is by a canyon and that poor guy would dart from car to car in the parking lot to hide. There are Hawks and Coyotes where I work.

So yeah he basically adjusted to his new home in 1 day!

  • @FBBMyspace lol he was probably like better then where i came from im not complaining

  • this video makes me wanna save the strays around my block

everytime i see one i quickly get some food from the kitchen, but when i open the door they quickly run away!! :-(

how do u put food outside and make sure squirrels dont eat it?

  • @americanGTA

Thanks for thinking about the strays around your block.

So many messed up people who do bad things to them =(

These cats came from my jobsite so I really didn't mind if other wild life ate their food. i just use to leace them a lot.

Eventually they got to know me and thats when I took them home.

If you look at the videos in the video responses you'll see a few of them when they were strays.

  • you are like superman! :)

  • @001just4fun

More like The Punisher but nicer =P

  • One thing I would stress to those taking/adopting street cats is they cannot go outside again if in the area where they were on their own. My last cat TC a great grey tabby shorthair followed me too many times hidden and a car got him. Their habits die hard and parking lot dwellers eventually run out.

  • @441rider

They have a very good life now =)

I'll make a video shortly on how they are progressing

  • look at the black cat!! she gotten so big and healthy since you adopt her. looks like junior is just chillen huh lol its a joy watchin cats feel so loved and play around. Wow you're an awesome person =) you are a hero!!!

  • beautiful....

  • You're a good man. There so lovely.

  • @rila

Thanks for the kind words, I adore these cats =)

  • you are a great person please keep it up people will notice

  • Awww. You're so sweet for taking care of the fuzzy ones. You can tell they appreciate it.

  • @AshillaBeige

Thanks for the kind words. These cats are doing great and loving live now. I made their home bigger and I'm teaching all of them to walk on leashes so they can go out safely =)

  • Thank you, Im teaching them all to walk on leashes so they can all go out safely

  • Kudos for your compassion! You are awesome!!!

  • Thank You =)

  • you are a hero my friend - thanks for being great

  • Thank you for the kind words it means a lot to me =)

  • these cats look like there loving you for this life you ve given them. i once to had always been a dog person and never had anything to do with cats until a stray walked into my life 3 years ago now he owns the place ..

  • I was always a dog person myself but when these cats entered my life I couldn't watch them live the life they were living. I wanted to do the best I can to gaurentee them that they would see tommorow.

In the time I've had them I have new feelings towards cats. They aren't as independant as people make them out to be. Deep inside they really need you and love you.

  • @FBBMyspace lets hope more people adapt that attiude you have shown

  • How big was the enclosure in this video?

  • 13 feet long,5 feet wide and 6 foot 2 inches tall.

If you watch a more recent video of mine I added an extra 3 foot long by 2 foot wide section so they can get sunlight.

  • beautiful your cats, i can see you keep them well!

  • This video was made almost 1 year ago. Pretty soon I'll make an update video. They are slowly but surely getting more social. I even made this enclosure a little bit bigger since I made this video =)

  • you're a very caring person, make sure to keep that area clean... I know somebody that started to do this and it got out of control, now the cats basically take care of her.

it looks like you have a plan though, keep up the good work

  • Hi thanks for the kind words.

Its 9 months later and everythings under control. I made the enclosure a little bigger to house 1 extra cat for a total of 4 instead of the 3 in this video.

They are doing really well. Im teaching them how to walk on leashes so they can safely explore the ourside world.

I have it posted if you check out my other videos =)

  • you are so awesome for doing this! my husband and I have 4 kitties and want to have a rescue shelter some day.

  • Thanks for the kind words. Make sure to check out my Walking your cat on a leash tutorial. The cat in that video is the very same cat in this video. He's really doing a great job at his new home =)

  • You're doing a terrific job! I work at a cat shelter myself, and feel great that there are wonderful folks like you. Keep up the great work! The shelter looks wonderful!

  • Had to do it. Since this video was made I made this enclosure a little bigger. These cats are progressing very nicely =)

  • somenday, when I get my own house, I'm going to do that too! seems like a lovely and helpful idea! Thanks for doing it! YOU'RE JUST GREAT! :)

  • That would be awesome!

I'm going to make a new video to show how happy these guys are.

I added a lot more stuff to keep them stimulated.

  • so how are the cats doing?

  • The Black one and the Grey one have a few rough edges but are coming around.

Last week I worked 16 hours of Overtime so I'm going to use that money to expand this enclosure so I can save more cats. Im going to add some grass and plants.

I been watching other enclosure videos and youtube gave me some great ideas.

  • My HERO! Thank you for being a caring person and recognizing the beauty, unique qualities, and value of these wonderful cats. Cats are BEST!and I pray that John Jr. and his buddies get loving, forever indoor-only homes VERY SOON. Hope the black and the grey find a home together, too, as they're obviously in love. ;)

  • That is really fantastic that you're rescuing these little angels! :-)

  • I'm so glad that you're saving animals!I

feeded 23 years long feral and street cats!

I love animals! Thanks for your help!

  • Its my honor to care for these guys =)
