When I first heard this song on the album I didn't like the studio version much at all. I almost thought Coheed had written another bad song (one of VERY few), but then I heard this version and it became one of my favourite songs on the album. The song was amazing, but the production ruined it :(

@jonsamuthafucka When Skeletons Live, The Road & the Damned, The Black Rainbow, In the Flame of Error in my opinion. All the others are incredible though, 4 out 60+ songs ain't bad ;D But I still wouldn't skip them if I was listening to the albums, I just think they're weak songs

It isn't the same as their tracks, but that isn't to say it is bad. Just different. I have always enjoyed every aspect of Coheed, and I truly hope when I see them live they will have the instrumentals as close to the tracks as possible. If not, who cares? I'M SEEING COHEED!

Yeah my big problem with Year of the Black Rainbow was just how muddled some of the mixes were, like they threw too much stuff in and sacrificed some of the catchiness of their older albums. This proves that the songs themselves are great.

Both this and Juggernaut works a lot better in acoustic version than the overproduced ubermacho mess we hear on the album. Really goes to show that Claudio hasn't lost it, as I felt while listening to ytbr. This is my opinion, I'm just glad someone posted these videos, restoring my faith in coheed.
