The difference between them and I is that i know the difference between right and wrong. The rioters were not protesting for a particular cause, they just saw it saw it as an opportunity to grab some "freebies" and destroy their community even more, so I ask, what was the point ?

@ukculture My brother-in-law is a Police officer and I hear from him about how he has to treat criminals with kindness and be polite to them calling them sir and madam and if somebody attacks him, he's not allowed to fight back - all he can do is try to restrain the person and cuff them. The Government are the ones controlling the power the Police have so blame them. If it were down to the Police they would have had this sorted out long ago.

well, The Police did not resolve this problem, in fact they did little to resolve it. The problem simply calmed down and died away....Of course as soon as the rioters knew there were 12000 cops etc this reduced the problem. But the police were quite frankly pathetic at STOPPING the rioters.....all this BS about how effective the Police have been is bullshite
