Moving no doubt about it, but another example of the masters work being appropriated by a cause counter to the artists inclinations? Bruce is outspokenly anti Iraq and Afghanistan and correct this if it's a wrong assumption, but I don't think he would think is appropriate to blindly 'honour the troops'? How about we honour the victims of 'collateral damage'? End the war instead of geting sentimental about soldiers being killed. Soldiers have always been killed, it's part of their job.

Fair enough I think he would approve of this tribute then. The still of the soldier craddling the Iraqi infant shows the humane side of a soldier in a foreign land but it's important not to create something that may appear (to some) to glorify the US campaign. These conflicts will be over when the 'insurgents' loose popular support. For that to happen US troops need to allow the people dignity. Half of the fight in the insurgents is against the years of arrogant US forign policy.

I have many choices for my future, and parents are upper class. Serving your country is an honorable thing to do, and I plan to enlist in the Army when I finish college as my FIRST and foremost choice. Everyone who I know in the Army did so as their first choice also.
