Marcellus Frac water discharged into the Conemaugh River

I've seen this. I witnessed a refuse water truck pumping "produced water" into a stream in Lycoming County near some Talisman wells. There is no mistaking that smell.

Yep - Show us the other bitter end of this pipe! If this is frac water then it needs to be documented and reported. And the gas co. will do it the cheapest way possible and so would you. So that's why pictures need to be taken and all information documented so there is no question as to what's going on!!! duh!!!

dumbfounded by your lack of investigation skills, you don't show any wells being drilled you dont show where the end of that pipe goes, you just assume that is frac water, did you assume it was poop in your pants or did you have to wipe first before finding out, meaning dont show things and make up stories with out proper proof

We have to report sightings like this to your states DEP. You don't have to be a scientist to see that w/e their dumping is not mixing with the water at all. Floating a diffusion barried just like oil, chemicals, ect.

How do you even know they were processing Marcellus Shale at the time? (do you even know how much water they get every day from all over the place??)

And second, how do you know the ugly color of the river isn't caused by the Dam upstream?

After watching Gasland, it struck me that Texas and Pennsylvania are two areas that have had numerous sightings of what turn out to be hairless coyotes (the media hoopla always says "Chupakabra??). Coincidence? They are drinking from these streams, no doubt, and losing hair just like the one lady's animals who were shown in the movie.
