Thanks, this video cleared up some confusion. Pictures & videos of Walking Street show that the street has buildings on both sides, but when I looked at the map of Pattaya, Walking Street seemed to be an extension of the beach-front road, and therefore it also looked onto the beach. But from the shot at 2:40 I can see that buildings close in on both sides of the street at the western extremity of the bay, thereby making Walking Street:)
