I just bought the DDM HID kit & Hella e-code housings..just waiting for delivery, how long did ur install take and where did you end up mounting the ballast? Thanks in advance man...nice jeep.
I do agree with the blinding part though of your initial comment. Hopefully you will get some projection headlight kits so it doesn't blind other driving down the road.
@MrBalll This setup is not blinding. I am using Hella E-code housings with glare shields. These housings have a sharp cutoff and are no more blinding than a stock TJ headlight, unless you are under the cut-off ;-)
@turboguy327 Hahahah thanks for providing more enjoyment to my weekend. It's turds like you that get all bent out of shape over things like this that amuse the shit out of me.
can u please tell me about your gauges....is that just an led swap or are those white face gauges....please help...i have 97 zj with 10000k bixenon and this is one of my next mods....keep lighten up tha roads....
hey i got a question.i got hids on my nissan altima but im selling the car so im thinking if it will fit on the next car.the hid i have now is h11..please help
Correct. However, what you see here is not turning the headlights on/off. It's merely moving a magnetic glare shield to produce the high/low beam. The HID capsule stays ignited the whole time.
Huh? Yes, you need high and low beams. It's a federal law and your vehicle will not pass inspection without them. This kit is a bi-xenon HID kit which has a high and low beam.
It's 1 HID capsule with a magnetic controlled shroud/shield. This shield is moved back and forth for high and low beam. So technically, it only has one capsule, but it does have a high/low beam due to this shield movement.
