  • Reggie Bush averaged 5.6 ypc this season and 6.9 ypc in the postseason. How's that for Bust? Sorry I can't hear you, his Super Bowl ring is blocking out sound cus it's so big.

  • kkj

  • Reggie Bush isn't a bust. But he sure isn't all that great. He's not one of th top 15 best RB's in the league, and he's not even the best RB on his team.

  • reggie bush is a bust

  • @SWAGGBOYZ22 you've never seen him play.

  • I know Chris Paul and Reggie Bush are Best friends but don't you guys also think they look kinda alike?

  • If anyone actually considers Reggie a bust, then they either don't understand football, or they have no clue what role the Saints drafted him to play.

  • bush isn't a bust, but he's definitely a disappointment to the saints franchise... they got an undrafted guy (pierre thomas) who statistically is miles ahead of reggie

  • @buddhajapan have you seen him play football before? lmao!! XD

Go search some of his highlights, or just turn to sportscenter every sunday!!

  • he has highlights. but he isn't consistent. i'd rather have consistent production than a once-in-a-while play.

  • You do, he's called Pierre Thomas.

  • he is a bust. drafted #2 with so much hype, plays like a 2nd or 3rd rounder.

that isnt saying he is bad.

  • its true

  • he made the winnign td today!

  • Anyone calling this kid a bust is an ignorant troll. Your team would trade form him in a heartbeat.

  • @lasigmaman Not my team. We have Deangelo Williams & Johnathan Stewart...the two-headed monster. I think we're good with what we have.

  • I guess now we know who coined the reggie chant...

  • I think you have to give him one more year before you call him a bust. He was injured last season.

  • Lmao, if they only knew how over rated he was at the time. Hang in there Saints fans, most teams would have made the same mistake.

  • It wasn't a mistake and he wasn't overrated. He was the most dynamic talent coming out of college in years. Accomplishing what he did in a big media region like Los Angelas, how could he NOT get hyped like crazy? I mean it isn't like he doesn't have highlight reels on this site that have been viewed a couple million times, n all.

  • he's a bust becuase: of the 06 class i would rather have:

    Lawrence Maroney-patriots

    Joseph Addai-Colts

    Maurice Jones-Drew- Jaguars

  • That doesnt make him a bust, but there are like 12 other players from the draft that have proven to be better players than Bush. Williams and Ryans are perfect examples......

  • proven its still real early to say that 12 others have proven to be better than reggie

  • @bromar16

And only 2 players showed they were better last season. This season Reggie has shown that he was the best in the draft. No one else from that draft is more electrifying and no one else is as big as a game changer as Bush.

  • @Marikasakura

While I would agree with you last year your view is completey wrong. I am a saints and Texans fan and I live in houston. This year reggie has done way better than williams or ryans have. He's improved they've done worse. It's hard watching the Texans D this season :(

  • I'm sorry but what? I live in Houston and this season Vince Young and Reggie Bush showed they were better than Williams and Ryans.

  • ur an idiot..bush is trash and vy sucks..mario and demeco is better than both of them and it aint even close.

  • @MetsUT1706

um...ur an idiot bro...demeco is one of the best mlb in the game...mario is one of the best de in the game...

vy and bush isnt even top 10 at their positions in the nfl so stfu

  • @FranchiseRockets you're the idiot. You don't understand that Reggie Bush doesn't play as a normal type RB yet he still has incredible statistics and a Super Bowl ring. And Vince Young isn't the best in the league, but you can't say he sucks. You're very ignorant. Learn your facts. He's gotten 1000+ all-purpose yards every year he's been in New Orleans. He averaged 5.6 yards per carry this season. 2 carries and it's a first down. Reggie isn't an every down back, but a big playmaker.

  • @FranchiseRockets and not to mention he's a great locker room presence. Watch Saints highlights and he's jumping up and down at all times. Since Reggie has been in the league here are his stats in December and January including the playoffs 111 Carries 676 Yards 6.1 YPC 6 TDs 64 catches 672 yards 10.5 YPC 6 TDs 13 total TDs ---- That's stepping up in big games during the playoffs. Just watch his Arizona NFC playof game where he played most of the game for once. Slaton could never do that.
  • hows dat looking??

  • WHAT A HUGE BUST!

  • he's been in the league 2 years and you call him a bust? base that on what? they called eli a bust and what did he do? oh yeah won a super bowl

  • actually the team won it and the offense was a big impact on that win

  • you're an idiot.

  • If you are talking about Dolly Parton then, yes.

In regards to Reggie Bush- no.

His third year in the league will show marked improvement. Not to mention he set the NFL record for receptions for a rookie running backs.

  • he showed a huge improvement, led the league in touchdowns and receptions till he got hurt, easily could of been a probowler. No hes taking the load with Pierre and will play even better if he stays healthy and you know it, stop hating m8, go hate on someone else, you know reggie is good

  • bush will never be A.P.

  • Of course not, they're two totally different RB's. How can you even compare the two?

  • Rushing yards, yards per carry average, rushing touchdowns.

  • In that scenario, then you completely have to ignore the roughly 800 yards receiving Bush gets in dumpoffs, screens, etc. This is my point. They're two completely different players. AP is a pure RB. Bush is not. He is a satellite player, who you can line up all over the field to create mismatches. With AP you just line him up as your tailback and give him the rock. You can't compare the two, they're too different.

  • lol ya rite

  • wutever

  • saints rock texans are the 2nd most retarted team picking up i don't even remember but go saints

  • Haha do you mean Mario Williams, the guy who picked up 14.5 sacks this year? I love the Saints and Reggie, but after the season Mario just had, he looks like a justifiable #1 overall pick.

  • yea true but at the time you have to admit that seemed like a bad pick.

  • Reggie!! Reggie!! Reggie!! Reggie!! Reggie!! Reggie!! Reggie!!!

  • Just saw the preview to "Perfect Effort" about De La Salle's 12 year winning streak. It looks like a pretty inspirational movie. Search for it on youtube or it's website perfecteffort (dot) com

  • I couldn't imagine taking anyone else.

  • chills

  • reggie would calvin johnsons ass. hes a beast. i wish i was there.

  • just luck for the saints that houston drafted mario williams no 1 pick

  • edit:::just luck for the saints that houston was dumb enough to draft mario williams no 1 pick

  • yeah, bad luck

  • chargers = afc, they were in a very tough division with denver and KC. brees in New orleans is a totally different story man

  • Reggie!Reggie!Reggie!Reggie!

  • god damn thats still awesome...this next season is gonna kill

  • Well yeah Chargers lost. :( I want the Saints to win now, Reggie's dad is security at my school. :)

  • doeas he ever talk about reggie???

  • If Brees didn't take the Chargers to the Super Bowl, I don't think he can make the Saints go. :)

  • Well, nobody thought he could lead the Saints to a first round bye either. So, why not Super Bowl? In case you haven't noticed the NFC is not so tough this year.

  • Um the Saints are better then the Chargers. They are gonna lose tonight. 1 more win and its Superbowl time.

  • How do you figure that?? Im a huge Saints fan, hence my name. But I have to disagree with this. The Saints have a QB that belongs up there with Manning and Brady, the best 1-2 punch backfield in the league, a strong, underrated OL, and the best rookie WR in the NFL. But they need more WR's with Horn now gone, and really need to work on that D, namely their secondary, before Ill call them as good as the Chargers. SD is stacked on O and D, New Orleans is not.

  • he is not the best,he is not even close to the best...Calvin Johnson would smoke him

  • I'm talking about last season. Calvin Johnson's a rookie? Oh really? Who does he play for? CJ's a rookie in 2007, I'm talking about the 2006 season. And since you say he's "not even close to the best rookie WR", then by all means, who is? You're telling me there was a better rookie WR than Colston last year?!? I can't wait to hear who you think was. Do tell sir...

  • reggie bush would smoke his ass any day

  • "Reggie, Reggie" New Orleans Going to the Super Bowl!
