  • this is funny classic!! lol

  • The following week after this show was aired Don Cornelius, and in particular Big Louie, the asian girl, and the dude who wore all the masks went off the show for good. Keenan Ivory Wayans shamed Don and the producers so bad that they felt it was necessary to remove anyone who was portrayed in the parity. Classic comedy, I still crack up when I see this, you ain't right Keenan!!!

  • Don didn't go off the show until three years later- can't speak for the others though.

This skit is funny as hell though- I didn't get the "Jane Pittman" part when I was a kid, but it's funny as all hell now, lmaooo.

  • Yeah you're right, I forgot that Don didn't go off with others, but his role on the show was revised. They started bringing in guest host to do the show, Don would close the show until he went off the show for good.

  • Don is the creator of Soul Train so that makes him the Executive Producer. He decided to do that himself. Don brought the guest hosts in.

  • Yeah he decided, along with alot of help, this show was very embarrassing for all involved with the show, Don may have had the final say so, but let's say he was coaxed into making that final decision to change the format of the show.

  • louie, cheryl song, and otis left the show in 1990 right?

  • Yeah, I think that's the year the first season of "In Living Colour" was on the air, so yep that sounds accurate. This show was from the first season.

  • you know why they leave the show?retired?

  • Embarrassment, the producers felt that a change was needed after this show aired, they were taken off the show immediately. Even Don's role changed, they started bringing in guest host to do the show, Don would make a cameo appearence at the end of the show, but he no longer hosted it like he had, once again embarrassment changed the format of the show.

  • When this first aired, I didn't get it, but now I do....some of those dancers were on the show for a while.

  • They should a Scary Train with zombies!

  • yeh you totally watched it robobreeder. go to crawfords dot the store. name brand salad dressing buy 2 get 1 for the price of 1

  • In Livin Colors was the BEST. I remember this like it was yesterday. Thanks for the memories.

  • lol this is from in living color

  • "And you?"

    "Jane Pittman!"

    That's classic!

  • "and you are"

    "methulsah" lol

  • I LMFAO when I first saw that...I was like nine years old back then.

  • lmao at The Grim Reaper walking around the crowd!

  • hell yeah agentlovelette, you da bomb!

  • Now that is funny, Greeting from Germany, Ex Dancer from Soul Train.

  • oooh... what's your name?! lol

  • James Smith

  • When did you dance on the show?! OMG!

  • So, all of the main people of the 80's Soul Train were represented... Cheryl Song... Louie "Ski" Carr... Odis Medley... I loved it, but it made me sad, too. (don't ask me why) t4p.

  • It was funny, but, after the laughter, I wondered was it as funny to those who were spoofed? Probably not but thats show biz.

  • ROTFLMAO!!! I'm Don Corleone...and the heart defibrialtor...HA HA HAAAA!!!..Grim Reaper...I almost peed my pants watching this...I haven't seen it since it first aired!!!

  • first!!!! it still have me cracking the hell up.
