If they could move a 320 ton steamship up a hill with what seemed like all this primitive technology then it just comes to show that all these conspiracies regarding humans not being able to build the pyramids or stonehenge are complete bullshit. Humans are perfectly capable of moving such objects over long distances.

Fitzcarraldo is one of those movies with two conclusions; or your watch, understand and like it, or you watch it, don't get it and is like "hmmm, riiiiiiiiight"(A La Doctor Evil's quote).

In my opinion, its a very odd motion-picture. Quite a work from the director and a true thought's maker.
