This is Maryam, the speaker in the video. I need to make an important clarification about something which I was asked with regards to the story of Prophet Musa (peace be upon him) and him unintentionally killing someone when he was trying to protect who he saw as oppressed from the oppressor.
These points should be kept in mind: When I asked a Shaykh about whether or not it was okay to say that Musa committed a sin [I didn't realize I had made this mistake until I watched the video], he said the following: "Ibn Ashur (r) says that calling it a sin or not is not problematic since Musa (as) was not a prophet when he did what he did."
That girl is absolutely RIGHT!!! what we think is good for us maybe actually is bad for us!!!! Allah سبحانه وتعالى knows best! He knows what is best for us! so there are alot of people who get upset that they didnt get that job,or go study here, or marry this person,or do this or etc....but Allah سبحانه وتعالى is the best of all planners! soo I really applaud that girl for bringing up that point

So 2 points since we're talking about a great Prophet and Prophets do not make mistakes like regular human beings do:
1- It was an accident, so it was not a sin in the sense that we understand sins
2- It happened before his prophethood
I hope this is helpful. May God forgive my shortcomings.
