but i was at glasto last nite and some guy madeit so when u spun the disk a giant bass was heard... got n e idea how he did it?

Not sure exactly how b/c bass doesnt really sound that decent thru this but maybe he screwed the HDD to a wall and maybe that did it.

More info and even a video of that would help.

I dunno maybe, but someone posted a video of a HDD speaker play ing the song mr brightside by the killers and YT got a copyright lock on it. and I have 3 much better videos of my new HDD speaker, go to "more from coondogtheman1234" and scroll about halfway to 2/3 of the way down the list and look for 3 videos that look similar to each other titled "hard drive speaker playing bad boys miami takedown" and theres 2 other videos like that one but different songs are used chk those 3 out.

i've heard that if you power up the disk's spin motor, you get a cleaner sound. maybe that's what's needed to clean the sound up.

yeah but this drive will never run again b/c the controllwer board has been removed. I removed it b/c I needed to get at the contacts to make it do this. I might either remove the heads or bend them up so it still looks like a hard drive but it sounds clearer.

Sorry this is a one way trip for the hard drive once its modded like this it cant be used in a computer anymore b/c once you remove the cover the warranty is void and the drive will fail.

actually it was probably reverberating with the cardboard thing its sitting on, thats a state quarters thing its on. sounds pretty good huh.

i will do more videos like this pending that people send me songs that i have their permission to play on here, theres another option right there for independent bands hoping to promote their songs send me an mp3 and ill play it on my hard drive speaker lol just an idea

yeah if i use a song that is, then i make it brief and dont play alot of it or use a song thats so old no one really cares
