  • I really wanted Hillary (Im an older woman) but why on Earth would someone switch from Hillary to McCain? nuts. glad it all worked out. love that song.

  • Ninety-six percent of black voters voting for Obama, is it race?

  • @supimAndriy

96% of black VOTERS. There are blacks who didn't vote.

  • And lets add on to that a little bit here, Obama is not just black. Everyone seems to forget that, He is part white, he only looks more black. He went to an Ivy League school, was a wealthy lawyer, a senator and now is the president. Race had nothing to do with it. It was a matter of trust, people trusted experience over just change, we can all agree that change is needed, but these are tense times and we need someone with experience in the office, regardless of color or promises of "change".

  • While I agree CDK on pretty much everything you've ever posted I must disagree here. Obama might have supported the same things as Hilary, but seriously, he hasnt done a single thing she said she would, other than minor troop withdrawls and I think including the gay's in the hate crime law. He SAID he would do alot of things, he SAID he would close guantanamo bay, oh sure he got rid of the prisoners, but now they are just in prisons on our soil, BUT the base at guantanamo bay is still open.

  • I think race was part of it. Another part was probably that people resented Obama for beating Clinton in the primaries.

  • I thought it was sex rather than race that these Clintonites voted for McCain for - you know, how Palin was the closest thing they could get to having a female presidential candidate. Some dumbass feminazis really did vote for McCain just so a woman could be president if McCain resigned or died.

  • (AP) -- Israeli soldiers in last winter's Gaza War say the military used Palestinians as human shields, improperly fired incendiary white phosphorous shells over civilian areas and used overwhelming firepower that caused needless deaths and destruction.

During F.Y. 2009, the U.S. is providing Israel with at least $7.0 million per day in military aid and $0 to the Palestinians. Since the War in 1973, Washington has provided Israel with a level of support dwarfing any other state.

  • This video is hilarious and would be embarrassing for the racists, if they had the ability to feel shame. They don't. Instead, they are ready to throw away all their progressive values in favour of one anti-progressive one (racism). That's extremely stupid.

    Excellent video!

  • The race issue goes both ways. Some voted for McCain simply because he was white, but many blacks voted for Obama simply because he was black. Many blacks are religious and fairly conservative, which is very unlike Obama and his policies. Blacks voted for Obama mostly for his race. Certainly some whites voted for McCain because of his race, but this DOES go both ways and you can't cry foul one way, if the race card also benefited Obama in more ways than it hurt him.

  • Im sorry but that is just BULLSHIT! If people are so ignorant that they're voting only on race they shouldnt even be counted. People are going to vote for the candidate that they feel best represents them. "Blacks voted for Obama MOSTLY for his race" that just shows your ignorance. over and over republicans have shown through their actions they do not care about minorities they want this country to be for whites first and everyone else gets the scraps. I think more white voted mccain out of fear

  • Obama won because he is smart and he ran a better campaign than Clinton in the primaries, his positions are very similar to Clinton's because they both for the most part make sense, McCain is an idiot as is Palin, neither of their positions on anything were based on facts, just dogma.

Change isn't immediate, it took Bush 8 years to screw us this deep, it will take at least that long to get back on track.

  • Race WAS the deciding issue. That and charisma. I believe that far too many people voted for Obama just because of his race and charisma.

  • LOL. Sorry Boredman567 MANY more ignorant bigoted people voted against Obama because of his race than voted for him because either they themselves were black (or a minority) or for some sense of whatever. Obama won over McCain by 6 percentage points. Exit polls indicated that had Hillary Clinton been the candidate she would have won by 11 points! Sorry Boredman, McCain didn't lose because of Obama's race, he lost because he wanted to continue demonstrably failed policies and ideology.

  • Ahh think i stumbled upon what I was looking for at last.

Well lets see, first i know you were keeping it simple CDK, but are you for or against thumb voten, but besides that, we'll know if all those green thumbs take place

recent history show's with politics what one ya's for, comes out nay (vica versa)

I for one, don't see any health care card i can use yet, troops still in iraq, well getmo is closed, but that wasnt even on the list

2 gays killed in middle east, obama MUTE on it, maybe he

  • just didnt read that memo yet, but he was over there talking with them, a moderate muslim, is he moderatly going to tie the rope that hangs gays?

if i also recall obama sure been acting white in the white house, joken about owning a helicopter, isnt it more on lease, a temporary perk that can be revoked with impeachment or ends in 4-8 years

now I'm no fan of either side, both showed ill judgement to this day, both 180'd on running platforms from electroal to primary

sigh, i wanted Powell in 98

  • meh wasnt 98, but felt a true bipartisin ticket woulda been powell gore

mighta been a good scare crow to keep up, to scare away arabs from the towers, going to POWELL AND GORE you

bah anyhoots, I do say I know you ment well but science is by far your gift, politics is...just a litmus test for history on what we the people been allowing to go on

more of a joke these days to what they really should an shouldnt be doing with the seats of powers and responsiblity inhert to them

    thnx boredman

  • Oh yeah? Well for me it had nothing to do with race or charisma. I agree with Obama on exactly all of the above issues.

  • Obama won get over it people!

  • Lies Lies Lies, Obama WILL take your guns and YOUR money if you have a job, if you don't and never want to work again, vote for Obama, he will take care of you for a while until no one works and their is no one left to take care of you, then what? Remember the ussr, thats what hapen to them!

  • I'm sending this to a friend who supported Clinton. I want to be sure she understands if she doesn't vote for Obama, it's because she's a racist.

  • That kind of oversimplifies his point, doesn't it?

  • If McCain wins. I'm going to Canada.

  • Charlymaumushi, Canada has a Conservative gov't although the difference between a Canadian Conservative and a Republican are quite different, the Conservatives in Canada are more centrist and slightly right of the Democrats in the U.S. Canada has a great Prime Minister though. Harper Girl! watch?v=IGCfHbXaqqU

  • Clinton is not supporting McCain/Failin. Nonsense.

  • Obama is against any gun ! Clinton is for McCain Palin 08!! Clinton 2012 hopefully Im a Clinton Supporter Blue Collar!!!

  • Obama supports prosecuting people who use a firearm in self defense. For example, someone breaks into your house and tries to hurt you, you shoot them, and go to jail for it. A policy like that absolutely defeats the purpose of having a firearm for protection in the first place.

  • Wow a liberal video? No Way! Stop crying race

  • I think it is so retarded that abortion and gun control are still issues....you can go to anny planned parenthood and kill your baby. You cant just walk into any store and buy a gun....they are non-issues.

Oh...and waht is an assault weapon? If I assaulted you with a banana...would senator Obama want to outlaw that too?

    ASSAULT BANANA?

  • No, it's just stupidity.

  • Excelent video!!

  • cdk007 makes great videos but oh God, the music sucks so bad imho

  • all i can say is wake up america and we cannot allow mccain and palin to win the white house if so it will be the end of america hands down

  • The bottom line is Obama is a Muslim whose sole goal is to create a Muslim world. This won't happen because the Illuminati has no Muslims within its membership.

  • I hope you're joking

  • Ignorance isn't funny. There's no room for joking here.

  • Please, for the love of all that lives, be kidding.

If you truly believe that, then...

    Your a complete retard!

  • What are you huh? 12 maybe 14 years old seems the right age to be using the word retard. leave this the big people sonny.

  • Maybe one of the reasons why America is in crisis right now because of these ignorant people who stereotype.

  • Are you kidding? The Illuminati has plenty of Muslims! They can't make employment judgements based around someone's religious preference, it's against the law.

  • Of course it's race. This is America. Ask yourself this question, would Hillary's white supporters be so angry if John Edwards had beaten her? I think not.

I voted for Hillary Rodham Clinton in the primary election. I still maintain that she was the best choice for the job. But, I'm damn sure not going to cut off my nose to spite my face. I can't believe that anyone who believed in Hillary's policies would vote to give those fascist crooks another 4 - 8 years. It's absolutely about race.

  • The thing i admire abut the US elections is that the two parties have DIFFERENT policies. Here in the UK you would be hard pressed to find anything but small differences in the ideals or policies of the Conservatives and New Labour.

  • Obama, and Hillary suck.

  • Democrats made gender the deciding factor between Obama and Hillary, so why can't they make it about race now?

  • race should have NOTHING to do w/running this country dude

  • Hopefully the woman wont let their personal feelings get in the way of their common sense. Honestly with everything McCain represents to America's future or more appropriately lack there of. How can anyone allow hurt feelings to get in their way on such an important decision! We need Obama in 08!!!

  • Well made!

  • If there were any questions about McCain being a crooked tool, look at his choice in running mates. She might be the first VP to start her term behind bars. Look at her record. Crooked is as crooked does. McCain is a liar, and any look at his record proves it. Yeah, let's ruin the country because we didn't get our way.

    -Hillary Supporter for Obama

  • your forgetting one thing... vote mccain... hillary in office 4 years... vote obama? 12 years?

  • Its all about positioning. IF Obama wins and stays in for 8 years then Hilary will have to wait 8 years to be president. If Obama fails, then she can become president in 4 years. This is the same reason she would not be his VP.

  • The only man (or woman) I would fully trust as a president would be an agnostic man with no ethnic burdens that force him to favor one ethnic group over another, and of course, someone moderate, not strictly right or leftwing, not populist or libertarian, something in the middle. However, in the case of the current election, it is my opinion that of the two evils, the lesser evil is McCain. I could be wrong and I hope I am if Obama wins, but that is my opinion as of now.

  • But, of course, that's an impossible burden, because EVERYONE has "ethnic burdens".

McCain is of Scots-Irish heritage. Does that make him suspect because the Irish like to drink and brawl? Or because the Scots are stingy, rude and quarrelsome?

    Or is that "heritage" OK?

If it's OK, then you're accepting ONLY white Anglo-Saxon "heritage". In other words, you're absolutely in line with the neo-Nazis or the KKK.

  • The Irish are perfectly well assimilated to America as are many more ethnicities. Everyone has ethnic burdens, but some are more burdened than others. Jews and Muslims aren't, and that is very understandable and respectable. Keep trying.

  • Just for the record, I am saying that Jews and Muslims are more conscious about their own heritages and, despite being perfectly adapted to America, they have stronger ties to their culture than many other americans, i.e. they may have dual loyalties. Not saying all of them, I am just saying there is a risk I wouldn't take with the most important position in politics. I would take chances with the governor, senator or VP but not the president. Fujimori for Peru is an example of what I don't want

  • Is this the retread of the "We can't elect John F. Kennedy for president, because, you know, his first loyality is to the Catholic Church, and he would be taking orders from the Pope" argument? For shame!

  • That shouldn't have been such an issue back then because there weren't so many conflicts with the Catholic church as there are in the middle east. I am not even saying I don't like Barack or that he should be banned, I am only saying I wouldn't want him as a president, but maybe as a VP I would. Some people just love to see racism where there isn't, though, like my friend middlekk that can't stop crying foul and raising the "KKK BEWARE!" flag because he either wants an argument or fails at logic

  • So, we've identified that you're white and think other white people are OK to be president, just as long as they're not a Jew.

Sounds pretty much like the KKK party platform to me.

Blind bigotry. That's what it is. No matter how much lipstick you try to put on that pig, it's still a pig.

  • You sound more of the KKK yourself. Most jews are white, you know. And what makes you think I am NOT of jewish heritage? Or of muslim heritage? I could even be one of those, and still an agnostic. I could be a jew/muslim that doesn't want to hold a burden of a jewish/muslim president in a non-jewish country embarrassing my own people with a mistake, maybe? I would vote for Colin Powell because he is assimilated to the american culture, as is Condi Rice. You fail hard at logic it's funny.Nice try

  • I think if you ask any KKK member who he hates more, blacks or Jews, he'll have a hard time answering the question.

If you could confirm to me you're anything other than a white male of European heritage with a Christian upbringing, I will eat my hat.

You'll vote for McCain because he's white Irish. That's some stupid reason to vote for someone. Not for his policies, not for his leadership, but because he's white and European.

Of all the wrong reasons to vote for someone.

  • So now I have to prove myself? It doesn't really matter, believe me if you want or not, but I am just gonna say I am not of "christian" heritage, much less related with KKK or Neo-nazis. I am against racism, but I do believe some ethnicities may be biased; not because they were born that way, but because of how they were raised. I am worried about how Obama's life will have an effect on his presidency and the world. And as I said below, I'd vote for Rice and Powell, both honorable black people.

  • I am worried about how Obama's life will have an effect on his presidency and the world. THAT STATEMENT RIGHT THERE SHOWS A LOT. WHAT KIND OF LIFE DOES OBAMA LIVE THAT MIGHT EFFECT HIS PRESIDENCY OR THE WORLD? YOU ARE NOT A RACIST AS MUCH AS YOU ARE UNINFORMED. BOOTSIELON WHAT ABOUT OBAMA'S LIFE WILL EFECT THE PRESIDENCY AND THE WORLD.

  • If you ever want to know more about Barack Obama's voting record, go to: ontheissuesDOTorg for a concise non-partisan breakdown (you may also learn something about your chosen candidate). If you ever want to see how what Barack Obama's done matches up with what he's saying as a candidate, go to: barackobamaDOTcom/issues/ (you may also try searching the web for your chosen candidate's plan, for a comparison...if your chosen candidate has a plan).

  • Or maybe its about the fact that no body knows exactly were Obama stands on the issues. Lets admit it. We know exactly what we would get if we elected either McCain or Clinton. Or maybe its because Obama refused to put a women on the ballot and McCain actually had the gall to do so. That would have to do with gender not race!

  • You have a point. There is uncertainty with Obama, which implies risk, a risk I wouldn't take with the most important position in the world. Maybe for VP or Governor or Senator I would take that chance, but not for the president of the USA.

  • I hate having to turn to this but if anyone thinks that someone with Jewish or Muslim ancestry would be ideal as president of the USA then you need to ask yourself if they would be fair and balanced when dealing with conflicts such as the middle east and dealing with their own minorities' interests in comparison to the majorities' interests. I am sure Israel would love lieberman to be USAs main man just as Siria would love to see Obama lead the US, but neither case would be good for anyone.Peace

  • I think anyone with strong religious ties is a danger to the presidency...be that Christian, Muslim, etc. Ask yourself if any of the religious zealots we have had have been good for our country...like say...Bush.

  • I completely agree, that is why I was rooting for Gore to be president back in the day.

  • How can any American think that Obama's support to ban guns from good Americans will make our country safer? When an elected official does not trust you to own a gun then be very carefull not to trust their intentions.

  • But it's all racism isn't it? Well no, a lot of it is stubborn mindedness and immaturity, as immature as you are cdk007. Grow up one of these days and drop the race-baiting demagoguery that you leftists love which helps to ensure that America is simply not ready for a president who cannot be criticised.

  • Hillary supporters who will support McCain are about as stupid as republicans who are going to support Obama because they don't like McCain. I'm not going to strain my brain to understand how people like that tick.

  • Nationality has nothing to do with it, Barack Obama was born in Hawaii, he only when to a Muslim school for some of his life.

Most American christens would put their nationality first because America is a primarily Christen nation unfortunately.

And religion shouldn't be very split, Muslims and Christians have pretty similar track records, Christians just have more

    power.

  • For the record doogtoog, Obama NEVER went to a "Muslim school" in Indonesia...he went to a public school in Indonesia without attention paid to religion. factcheckDOTorg

  • McCain'08!

  • Does anyone know a source where McCain has stated support for teaching creationism in schools? I was under the impression that he was more reasonable than that (despite my disagreements with him on other political issues)

  • Yes, he is more reasonable than that. He said he believes in evolution but that he sees god's hand in nature. So he is reasonable and he still chooses to believe in god, like our fellow DonExodus, which is one of the most educated guys on youtube, rational and yet still chooses to believe. Much more respectable than that dumbass pseudo-intellectual at best that goes by the name of the amazing atheist.

  • Don't get me wrong, I still don't think that McCain is reasonable in the absolute sense, just relative to the average religious person, and only on this particular issue. Atheism is definitely the more reasonable position (although I agree with you about the amazing atheist).

  • Oh of course not, there is no perfect politician. I would vote for the libertarian party if it actually made a difference, but oh well. As long as McCain is not a hardcore creationist... Anyway I wish Gore was president. That man had both credibility and good ideas. McCain may not have many good ideas but I give him more credibility than I give Obama which is more important, because words can only go so far.Not that McCain is good, but I think he is the lesser evil.I hope I'm wrong if obama wins

  • yes it is race

  • McCain is so oldschool its hilarious.

  • No, it is not race, it is a doubt for Barack Obama's allegiance to America, since he is, you know, part muslim? Who knows who he'll be siding with when tougher times come. Besides, Hillary is a neocon, like Lieberman, McCain and Bush, unlike Barack Obama. So it is perfectly understandable for some Clinton supporters to go with McCain. Also, McCain is now getting the female vote that Hillary was gonna get.

  • part muslim what the hell? how can you be part muslim?

its the fucking dirty trash ridden southern states that wont vote for him

  • Part muslim, how is that hard to get? His family (part of it at least) is muslim. Obama himself said he has "credibility with muslims". How about credibility with americans? And of course, that includes muslim americans that are american first, muslim second. Sadly, Obama puts his heritage first, and america second. I would give a rats ass about his policy if he had credibility but he has none. That is why Clinton's supporters are with McCain, not racism, but risk aversion.

  • Holy shit your dumb. What does being Muslim have to do with being a good American. There isn't a America vs. Muslims thing going on unless you are an ignorant fool (so yeah in some peoples minds there is, because assholes like you). They are two completely separate things no one needs to put one before the other because they have nothing to do with one another. On what grounds are you saying Obama puts "America" second? Got an example or are you just a tool?

  • I'm pretty sure freedom of religion is protected in the first amendment. Stop oppressing people because your a dumb tool who lives in fear and lets people control you with paper thin lies and hate mongering. Why don't you take a minute occasionally and think. Think about whats best for you and your loved ones and not what's best for "America". Hint: What's best for the former is what's best for the latter. Get it? We're all the same stop the hate.

  • The fact that he's a US citizen, served as a state senator for seven years, been a US senator for the last three years are all not credible?

    You're a damned idiot.

  • You make it sound as if he was the only one with experience, moron. It's not like that is the only factor that influences credibility. Hint: Maybe you should look at his heritage and how it may influence his actions as president of the US.

  • First, the US Constitution says there shall be "no religious test" for holding office. At least understand the founding document of our democracy before you start spewing such bullshit.

Second, what's wrong with having "credibility" with a group that represents 22% of the world's population? How does that disqualify him from being president?

Clinton supporters are most certainly NOT with McCain. I was a Clinton supporter, now I'm voting for Obama. And so will she.

  • Idiot, that's the freaking point, we do not want issues related with religion, and Osama Hussein is actually partial to Islam. Many clinton supporters are voting for McCain, and that is NOT because of race, it is because Obama lacks experience and credibility in a touchy situation where muslims must be dealt with. If Osama Hussein or whatever you wanna call him was Colin Powell, Condi Rice, that would probably be a very different Story. Osama is the new Malcom X, not the new Martin Luther King.

  • No. He's not.

You can't be "partially" one religion or another.

He says he's a Christian, he has attended a Christian church for decades. He's a Christian.

St. Paul was a Jew before he converted. Was he still a Jew or a Christian.

    Your bigotry is showing.

  • I don't care about his religious life. What I care about is how his heritage, his ethnicity in particular as the descendant of a muslim, may have an effect on his future decisions. As a senator he dealt with mostly local issues, but as US president he is gonna have to deal with issues I wouldn't trust him to. Bigot? IMHO, Obama doesn't represent americans. McCain is an idiot too but he is a lesser evil. I like the Libertarian Party, Al Gore, Rudy Giuliani, and Colin Powell. Hardly a Bigot.

  • Bullshit. His father - who ABANDONED HIM - was a Muslim.

He was raised as a Christian. He's a Christian.

And religion is NOT ethnicity. Never has been. You're trying to rationalize your unfounded fear of black people (although he's half white, so it's hard for me understand why that doesn't count equally).

And even if he were a 100% Muslim (which he ISN'T), how would that make him "not an American"? The Constitution says "no religious test" to hold office. Look it up.

  • An ethnic group is a group of human beings whose members identify with each other, usually on the basis of preferential endogamy and/or a presumed or real common ancestry.[1][2] Ethnic identity is further marked by the recognition from others of a group's distinctiveness[3] and the recognition of common cultural, linguistic, religious, behavioral or biological traits,[1][4] real or presumed, as indicators of contrast to other groups.[5]

  • So you're saying that Mormons are an ethnic group? That Catholics are an ethnic group? That Lutherans are an ethnic group?

Islam as diverse a religion as you can get. They speak dozens of different languages, live in hundreds of different countries, representing every race. There is no way in the world that all Muslims believe they share a "real or common ancestry".

Your blind hatred continues to show itself.

    Grow up.

  • Of course there *are* different ethnicities within Islam, I never said *all* muslims are equal, or *all* jews are, or *all* christians are or whatever. But still, Barack Hussein Obama can't hide his origins and as HE SAID HIMSELF, muslims like him for a reason. I don't care about his religion (his particular beliefs), I care about his identity (descendant of muslims AND friend with muslims) and how that will have an effect on his future decisions. I do not hate, nor am I blind, I'm risk averse.

  • Oh, and keep trying to label me as a racist, that doesn't help your argument much. If you think Senator Joseph Lieberman would have made a good VP back in the days, do you not think he would have been very partial to Israel and Jews? All countries should be represented by people that not only care about their own nation, but that don't have any ethnic interests in particular that favor certain nations or groups.

  • So since his father abandoned him, he is ending his partiality towards the ones he feels are his people? He said it himself, he has credibility with muslims. Why is that? Because he has muslim ancestors. And nice try labeling me as a racist after I mentioned that I would vote for Colin Powell, Condi Rice, or any black person that follows Martin Luther King's footsteps. NOT those that follow into Malcom X's footsteps. As I said before, I don't care about his religion, I care about his identity.

  • What "partiality"? Where has he EVER said ANYTHING about partiality?

He went to school in a Muslim country; ate meals with Muslim children. How does that DISQUALIFY him from being President?

You say you don't care about his religion, but that's your ONLY reason to not like him -- and you don't like him for a religion HE DOESN'T HAVE.

Your arguments are getting more and more transparent. We see right through you.

  • He said he has credibility with muslims, look it up, or do I have to look that up for you just as I looked for the exact definition of ethnicity for you? What disqualifies him from being president is the potential bias in favor of several ethnic groups, not his friends or his beliefs or his heritage, but how all these things combined may blind his decisions by not favoring the people that actually voted for him, which may not be the same people as those he actually cares about.

  • Neither Obama nor Lieberman could represent Americans, since they are probably biased towards their own ethnic minorities and those they share affinities with, even when both are still very capable individuals. And for the record, I do not believe in any religion and I couldn't care less what anyone believes or what color anyone is, I simply vote for those that I think have more credibility and whose interests will be where they should be.

  • boots, you're essentially basing your support on a gut feeling about "ethnic minorities", that's your right. But I base my vote on what a person has said and done and then I weigh it against what's important to me. There's little affiliation between Obama and Lieberman, yet you tie them together in a "Karl Rovian" package to blur the lines and cloud the good judgment of voters. You use your gut, but if you ever decide to invite your heart and mind into the equation... go to ontheissuesDOTorg

  • I have an open mind so I am willing to change my mind if I am given correct reasons to change my mind about Obama. And of course, if Obama wins, I hope I'm wrong.

  • Oh. So you're BOTH a Jew-hater and a Muslim-hater.

That, my friend, is the definition of a bigot.

    Crawl back under your rock.

  • You have to be really dense if that is the only conclusion you can come up to when someone puts in doubt that a jew nor a muslim, both of which have interests in other conflicts that are as relevant to the USA as they are to England or France or Angola or whatever. It's not certainty, it is just doubt, I have enough of an open mind to admit that I may be wrong. Im for peace in the mideast but if you think people belonging to these minorities wouldnt be biased as presidents then you are mistaken.

  • And you have to be a true bigot to reject a person - regardless of his or her qualifications - based solely on their religion.

Definition of bigotry: The state of mind of a narrow-minded person who is intolerant of beliefs other than his or her own.

Methinks they could put a picture of you next to that definition.

  • Funny you consider I am a bigot despite the fact that I just said below I consider him a very capable individual. Even funnier, you are the only narrowminded individual here since according to you it is impossible for me to have other reasons other than "being a bigot", since I am not rejecting obama as a person, I am only rejecting him as a president. I wouldn't mind if he was a vicepresident though, because as I said, he is very capable. I just don't want him to have the final say on issues.

  • And let's not forget that your BIGOTRY against Obama is aimed at a religion he has NEVER PRACTICED.

You're so afraid of Muslims that you won't vote for someone who was NEVER a Muslim?

Wow. Now that's some kind of prejudice.

Either that, or it's just a bullshit excuse and you really don't want to vote for him because his father was black.

    More blind prejudice.

If you want to discuss his policies, fine. But continuing to insist that bigotry isn't bigotry is like claiming the sun doesn't exist.

  • Ridiculous analogies. So saying he shouldn't be president because of his heritage (not beliefs) is being a bigot? I am not even saying he should be deported or murdered or excluded, just not a president. Hell, even if he was lebanese like Nader I wouldn't be so sure if he is with our allies or enemies despite his capabilities as a politician, its a matter of trust. I dont agree with some of McCain or Obamas policies, but I consider both very capable, unlike Palin and the nobody that Obama chose.

  • Yes. Rejecting someone because of their "heritage" is bigotry. Period.

You're a bigot. You just refuse to acknowledge it.

And the "nobody" on the Dem ticket is Joseph Biden, who was the fifth youngest person ever to be elected to the US Senate, and who is now senior senator from Delaware with 35 years of continuous service, and is currently chairman of the extremely important Foreign Relations Committee. Some nobody. In your wildest dreams, you'll never achieve 1/10th of what he has.

  • But I'm not rejecting anyone though. I am not expelling him from my circle of friends, or community, much less deporting him. I simply wouldn't vote for him for president (maybe for something else I would). And by the way, what makes you think I don't have a tenth of what Biden has? Nobody cares about his bank account anyway. And, talking about his professional achievements, I couldn't care less. I am a Ph. D. student at Stanford, so it's not like I would like my career to resemble his.Try again

  • Very well said. Obama/Biden ticket is the only viable ticket. Biden is a tried and true statesman and will do the country proud. McCain/Palin is the ticket to nowhere.

  • Aren't you one of the Amazing Atheist's fanboys? That would explain why you have such a closed mind and a loud mouth/keyword, and especially why you can't even agree to disagree. I'm getting tired of your tone.

  • Ummm...no. Sorry. You're wrong. I don't subscribe to AA.

And if you don't like my tone, tough shit.

    I don't like common bigots.

  • Sadly for you I am not a common bigot. I am just saying I am getting tired because it sounds like I am dealing with an angst filled teenager, which is ironic considering you are more than twice my age. And I also hate to be talking with someone in such an uncivilized manner (after also being insulted), when we are both subscribed to many of the same channels so I don't think we are very different. Anyway, your choice on how you wanna keep handling this, we're not gonna change each other's mind.

  • What is sad is that you don't even realize you're a bigot.

You're voting for McCain because he's white Irish and not voting for Obama because of some perceived Muslim 'heritage', and you apply the same standards to all Jews.

Sorry, pal, but that's the definition of a bigot.

Common ordinary bigot. No matter how you try to sugar coat it, you're basing your vote on race, religion, and ancestry. And that's bigotry. Look it up.

  • Whatever makes you happy to believe, old man. What's funny is that I may be jewish (or muslim) yet you simply choose to think otherwise because you are so closed minded that you think only a "white supremacist" could think the way you think that I think (while misrepresenting my views), not to mention that instead of proving me wrong or opening your mind, you are simply making straw man arguments and recurring to ad hominems. You simply chose to assume I am a WASP and neither jewish nor muslim.

  • Anyway, think what you want if it makes you happy, but that doesn't mean you are right about me. Since you won't even believe my claims as you keep regurgitating the same "OH NO YOUR RACIST", I am not gonna bother proving to you who I am. Regarding my position, you chose to misrepresent it conveniently, and sadly some readers on this thread bought your bull.

  • How many American Christians would put their nationality before their Christianity? Isn't it biased to expect American Muslims to put their nationality before their religion?

  • i didnt get it till the end...RIGHT IN Ron Paul!

  • just for opposing teaching cracionism if i were american i would vote in obama.. if our leaders have no clue of science and allow dogmas to be teached has something perfectly credible, then they can do essentialy anything..

  • Racism or not, its voting for a douche and a turd sandwich. I like how the definition of choice in America is one or the other. Independent candidates are sweet, but lets be honest, the majority of america and the press will not and won't ever view them as important. this shit is so entrenched in nonsense that most people would rather believe its great than know the truth. We're like kids throwing insults back and fourth. people who actually care are interested in change, not finger pointing.

  • You guys do realize that a woman has never been voted into office either? Just look at how fucked up this video actually is. It's true that people will vote for whoever they damn want to without any educational answer of why, but it's pretty obvious that democrats are mutual on most of their topics, I don't know why that would seem like some kind of longshot. Give me a fucking break. I'm not advocating anyone by the way. I'm just lawling at how stupid propaganda is, coming from anyone.

  • True, a woman has never been voted but that's not the issue...thats why there are pimaries to see who we would elect, Clinton came pretty close so it wasn't like she was getting shut out...truth is some people would rather see a white woman rather than a black man run the country, that's not my own opinion it's facts...what other reason would someone who has backed Hillary loyally, go and support someone who has completely different issues. When asked, most just say he seems tougher...LOL

  • Good video

  • So, for more of the same vote Republican...

  • I also notice the Reps are trying to shift the focus of the debate to oil with thier "Drill, Drill, Drill" catch slogan, I've even seen the guys on CNBC saying that just the plan to allow drilling is what brought down oil prices, not so if you want to know who brought down oil look in a mirror, you drove less reduced demand prices fell its just that simple.

Insidently I notice that the IRAQ gov just signed a deal to supply oil to, are you ready for it CHINA.

    Just an interested bystander.

  • Has anyone noticed how much better the response to this hurican has been as compared to Katrina.

I guess it makes a real difference to the Republican weather they need your vote in 3 month instead of 3 years.

  • How could anyone vote for any of these morons?

  • Aya.

You really think the Dems are being racist?

Perhaps they're just jilted that their gal didn't get the nod.

I highly doubt any H. Clinton supporter would ever go to McCain though. Were is this data coming from exactly?

  • HR 6304 Obama voted for McCain slithered out Hillary voted against "Peanut" Paul voted against HR 1955 Same order for for against against think about it. *if you have a sense of humor or don't get the peanut reference check out jeff dunham's peanut.
  • I'd love to get an answer on why Obama voted for it.

  • choice being the operative word! Everyone should especially in something like this and I think we would all like to keep it that way

  • Palin is strongly anti-choice, opposing abortion even in the case of rape or incest

Use your vote and your voice. Abortion is a personal decision, not a criminal one

The only similarity between her and Hillary Clinton is that they are both women.

  • The only similarity between Gov Palin and Sen Clinton is they are both women. On the issues they are on opposite sides.

Would we have a president who would not hesitate to exploit women and discredit the eighteen million cracks that Sen Hillary Clinton has put in that glass ceiling?

  • It's gender. They wanted a woman.

  • Its because they wanted Hillary on the ticket So.. if they vote McCain and McCain wins, Hillary can run again in 4 years! Its obvious.

  • Hi, I'm not from the US. Can someone tell me what happened to Clinton? Did she step down from candidacy?

  • Clinton failed to get enough votes. Her whiners said she had more popular votes but the math never really added up. So she attacked the other candidate and said the press and public were unfairly beating her down.

Even Sarah Palin saw through this whining and said it was appalling.

That's why we need a STRONG woman in the GREAT WHITE House.

    That's why we need MCCAIN/PALIN 08

  • Looks like cdk got his answer. It is race which determines who gets elected.

  • Barrack beat her in super delegate votes, so he's now the Democratic candidate in the upcoming election. McCain has no opponents left so he's the Republican candidate.

  • What? You mean only one democratic and republican party can candidate for presidency? Can there be some other political ideology?

  • There are many different parties, but only the Republican and Democratic party actually stand a chance of winning. America is a two-party system, like it or not. Hillary and Obama were competing for the Democratic ticket, and Obama won it. McCain was competing with Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, and others for the Republican ticket, but they dropped out earlier. So now it's Obama vs McCain for presidency.

  • 'America is a two-party system, like it or not.'

Indeed but that does not mean we must accept it. That is like saying 'People die from cancer there is nothing to can do about it' or 'Some people just don't have health insurance you can't help it'. These are also true statements, that do not relieve us of our moral obligation to improve the situation.

True also of the two party system. It is broken and if enough people join together it can be opened up. If we keep doing nothing, we get nothing.

  • Wrong. The Constitution would have to be overhauled in order for the country not to be a two party system. We would fundamentally have to change everything about the way our elections work. The single-member district always leads to two parties. It's based on a few things, but mostly it's based on strategic voting choices.

  • Really?! Could you cite some part of the constitution that would need ammended to allow three parties?

Also, how is it that the majority of presidential elections had more than two candidates on the ballot legally if it was unconsitutional?

Finally, did you make that up thinking I wouldn't know the difference, or did someone tell you and you're too stupid to know the difference?

  • mtanti87, they are called independent parties. There are many of them, the reason why we dont hear much of them is because our two party system works very well. What happens is the two major parties tend to (for the lack of words) leech ideas from the independent parties. Plus, if the two party system just happens to add an extra party, then most voters will vote for the person who doesn't win.

  • She wasn't nominated.

  • Very interesting video. I have much to say, but the only thing worth saying is that I hope everybody who votes is educated about the candidate they are voting for.....do some research and "THINK ABOUT IT".

  • If you go from voting for Hillary to voting for McCain you really need to seek a psychiatrist because something isn't right up there.

  • go old man(McCain)

  • "money" indeed, oligarch pawn

  • Obama GO!He rocks

  • Hillary better get out of the building before the door hits her squarely in her dem-witted donkey ass.

There's a new girl in town, and she ain't afraid to wield a gun. Finally we have a RIGHT CHOICE amist all the ridiculousness.

    NO WAY, NOBAMA.

    MCCAIN/PALIN 08!

  • Hmmmm...no, Palin isn't running for President, but she will be one step away if something happens to Grandpa McCain...not a chance I am willing to take. McCain just keeps showing how clueless is really is...

  • "praised him"

  • Maybe race should count because some races are demonstrably more anti-social and uncivil, at least in the U.S., than others. Just a thought.

  • "Voters don't count, the people who count the votes count."--Stalin

  • Just wait until the Black Panthers, Sharpton and the rest of those sheep start demanding their money's worth. It ain't going to be pretty.

  • I'd give Obama 6 months in the White House to be impeached or forcibly removed by the military. Obama is the opposite of capitalism, the opposite of what this country was founded on. He is a communist moron. Check his shady history.

  • Amen! I read the book and he aint no walk in the park and affirmative action aint going to give him this slot in the classroom or boardroom.

Obama brought the Democratic Party down and now I'm embarassed to utter the word HOPE. Hillary must be laughing her ass off at this point, because her hands are clean.

    MCCAIN / PALIN 08!

  • Okay....I see you're position. Not!

    "Gaysformccaindotcom".

    GAYS FOR MCCAIN?!

I bet you're single. If you had a partner, you wouldn't want to vote for McCain because you're not allowed to get married.

    Excuse me.

Do you hear that? That is the sound of your bubble bursting.

  • I don't give two craps about marriage.

I just want to see Roe. vs. Wade overturned.

  • Abortion is a woman's choice, and an issue of healthcare. No man should have any say in women's rights except to fight for them. All healthcare should be good, free, and available on demand. You're a bigot who wants to oppress others' rights.

  • Although men evidentaly have no rights in your view, does that mean they have no responsibilities to childern who are born?

  • A man should have every right to do with his own body as a woman has to do with hers. Men can have as many abortions of whatever might be growing inside them as they want. But men do not have a right to oppress women and vice versa. Society as a whole has a responsibility to provide excellent education, healthcare, daycare, food, clothing, shelter, and all manner of political, social and economic justice to everyone. Men and women alike must fight side by side in mutual respect to win that.

  • I'm a Hillary supporter. The main reason I'm voting for McCain is because he is white. PERIOD. There are MILLIONS like me out there, Democrat and Republicans. If you think otherwise, you need your head checked.

  • YOU DISGUSTING RACIST BIGOT!

  • Back to the topic at hand: People who say they will vote for McCain rather than Obama are either racist or simply ignorant. He holds the exact opposite view of Clinton and Obama on nearly every important issue. 90% of the time it's the same view as Bush. McCain used to be a maverick, but then he sold his soul to become the nominee.

The only people who should be voting for McCain are the 30% that still think Bush is a genius.

  • Factoryale, before calling people ignorant, look at yourself in the mirror.

Only a brainless moron, a traitor, a socialist and a S.O.B would vote for president a person who:

    - praised and is friends with a terrorist that bombed the capital.

    - attended a racist church for 20 years.

    - allowed a racist priest to marry him

    - has ties with crooks (his house deal)

    - has 0 experience.

    - is endorsed by Hamas, a Palestine terrorist group

This is why Republicans call you brainless morons.
