I totally agree multimonster, and big issue here, the lieutenant has a beard, uh, they cant have a full beard, mask doesnt seal properly, apparently they didnt pick up om that
Due to "lack of room", NYC Police Officers, Port Authority Police Officers and FDNY Firefighters are not "invited" to the 10th anniversary of 9/11 at Ground Zero. Funny - they weren't invited on that day in 2001, either - they just "showed up" and became our heroes. Please re-post if you think they belong MORE than the politicians who are invited.
@AlterDimensions Hi! Take a look at my reply if you don't mind. There were these heroes and victim's families who were refused access at every check point. On many streets there were huge blocked off and emptyspaces. Where I wound up (right under that arched pedestrian bridge you see in many 911 videos) there was tons of space, and that would have let them get up close to the west side of the ceremony. Some who had ID badges and tags/passes were denied entry! In their Uniforms!
@MultiMonster69 Not to get off subject, but I was there, and there were a lot of these heroes in dress uniforms. There was a wide area blocked off, with empty space between us and the ceremony area. They were not allowed in (nor was I). There were some family members also, with T-shirts with pics of loved ones lost, flowers, etc who couldn't get down there either. If you did not have a pass, you were persona non grata. I stood at the corner of West and I think Murray. Shame!
@eltiagorico1 i posted that like months ago heh heh but your lucky you got to get close. like when i found out i was just super pissed. politicians dont deserve to be there
@MultiMonster69 Thanks. It took me 3 hours to get there. Took a cab from Penn Sta. Road blocks, ,military, you name it. Had to get out and walk at least a mile or so to find some place near it. It was pretty bad. I could hear some of it. There was plenty of room for our heroes between where we were and the ceremony, could have fit at least 2000. But the politicoes? They were being shunted in and out via blacked out SUV's and escorts. I should've brought my Video camera. Thanks.
@AlcoFan2010 Yeah I've been re-watching the whole series recently, so I just watched that episode not that long ago. I'm really sad the shows ending so I've just been watching all the old and new episodes non stop lol. My favorite part of the scene is when he tells the fat guy he needs to lose weight "If I have to pull you out of a fire, that's gonna be awful slow going" haha makes me laugh every time, I love Garrity.
Garrity doing all the things he's always wanted to. Like a fucking boss.
