  • Excellent

  • GREAT landing dude post moree

  • awesome pilot !! ^^

    Nice video

  • from the start of the vid to right before you see the ground it looks like it is going to the left side of the screen and it looks realistic

  • nice job ... what a nice landing ...

  • Very great 5*

  • awsome... mad skills now try a 737 or airbus into Juneau or Kodiak becomes more difficult due to the up drafts and down drafts makes for very interesting cross winds

  • Where are the spoilers???

  • In the wings.

  • what controller are you using please tell me i want a good controller to play this game

  • Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro 2. Today I use Saitek Aviator.

  • great

  • Very impressive landing in difficult conditions. What add on are you using? Cheers

  • Very impressive landing in difficult conditions.

  • its jal..japan airlines...

  • WOW

  • very very nicely done, u followed the cross wind landing procedure almost to the dot!

  • if i had a penny every time i faild a crosswind landing i would be able to buy bill gates house and probably bill gates himself

  • Excellent landing, Nice video

  • stop quiet quickly! good skills though.

  • Nice but nicer still if you've done it on the real plane.

  • im a pilot and i can do that.

  • With that big of a plane????

  • how did you get that view???

  • Tower View

  • Wow Man !!!! Wow. What a great landing. You did so well on final. Beautiful touchdown.

  • very cool man ;D

  • how do u do crosswid land?

  • good landing. well held on the final.

  • Beautiful man!! fukin beautiful.

  • Great job!!! beautiful

  • That was great landing! Can you give me some tips???

  • Beautiful~Well done

  • very nice crosswind landing i've ever seen! good job!

  • Nice

  • if u wanna do crosswindss u gotto use math calculations... gotto do sum shit with the wind speeds the angle ur going at andd how far ur from the runway and all that crap.. my bro does it all the time and perfectly all using math... soo just get those math calculations and u can do one perfectly too=P

  • Awesome landing, i'd like to be abble to land with a very strong crosswind, but actually, a crash my plane everytime... I watch on internet the procedure you used, and I keep on working !!! See U captain !

  • Very nice video, I have never done a crosswind landing so how was it? what procedure you use?

  • great landing..thoug it is weird to stop that fast ! even you are on max autobrakes !

  • white hot!!!

  • there is NO way that 47 woulda stopped THAT short on the runway! I don't even think a "Short Field" 747 woulda stopped that quick!

  • in heavy crosswind you dont need so much speed, as the wind speed keep the plane in the air, so there is no need for long runways in heavy frontal crosswinds.

  • this looked really pretty...

...but a 'frontal crosswind,' that's a contradiction in terms, unless you mean more of a quartering crosswind, not a direct [90 deg] x wind.

  • That's correct. I Mean that the crosswind is not a 90 deg. and that wind may help the plane aviate in slow speed.

  • thats a VR plane. not a real one

  • that's hot!

  • yup... I can't even align the plane properly in perfect conditions, not to say cross winds... Can someone teach me how to align the plane properly (that is without using slew)

  • one of the best landings i've seen in fs

  • Very nice, even due to high crosswinds you managed to land well

  • thats not true, see you lot arnt very good pilots, reverse thrust is enabled so is the spoliers when the main landing gears are down, it doesnt matter if the from gear is down or not...

  • never reverse the thrusters until you have the plane completly on the ground.

  • That may be true.. but I've seen many pilots use them on main-gear touch down.

  • yes you can add thrust reverses just as the main landing gear touch down...is very common....

    perfect landing great--

  • Thanks Captain!

  • can someone tell me how to crab an a/c on crosswind landings?? i have real hard time landing in crosswinds!!!

  • your a very good pilot and made it look like the real cross wind landings great job

  • If there were 50kts crosswinds that's when I would set the reverse. It stopped fast... max autobrakes?

  • Nice landing, but your reverse seems a little bit earlier....anyway, very good landing. Any other crosswind approach? expecting......

  • Thanks!

After the touch of the main landing gear, the reverse can be set in motion. Look this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2Gg_7wHPAI&search=crosswind

  • It is not possible to open the reverse thrust before your wheels touchdown. It must be an error in the aircraft.cfg file.

  • Nice landing, but you never reverse the thrust until the airplane reaches ground level. In this case you need to have the landing gear all the way to the ground:)

  • i was on a 777 BA flight into Atlanta ga once and the engines went into reverse about 10 to 20 feet above ground just before the main wheels hit the runway.

  • After the touch of the main landing gear, the reverse can be set in motion. It is not only set in motion while the aircraft will be in air.

  • 50 Knots? ouch that must have been tough although you made it look VERY easy! Again I have to say nice landing :P

  • But the airplane was very light when I made this landing and the wind was not total 90° (+- 70°) with the runway course. Thanks!

  • Nice landing that must have been some crazy ass crosswind did you see the wind sock?

  • The wind that I added was of 50 knots. Thanks!

  • nice video wat video recording program are you using?

  • Fraps. Thaks for comments.

  • Good landing, i cant even land those things.

  • WOW, i suck at crosswinds. :(

  • that was awesome, I love a good crosswind and I know how hard they are. Did you use the auto approach to correct the wind? Im always adjusting the ailerons on the way in, it looked like you had the autopilot put in for the crosswind component.

  • that's like A LOT OF crosswind... like "too much, we land on another strip"-crosswind, hahahaha

    cool.

  • how u get that sound effect

  • pretty damn good

  • Thats Certinley Pretty damn good Good work man

  • nice
