Wow, you are1 smart chickie! I usually disagree with several things in videos about health. I whole-heartedly agree with you! I have been on the raw food diet for a full year. I got over my salt addiction within 4 months, but not so with sugar. I am at 98% raw, but I still have chocolate bars, and cravings for high-glycemic index foods. I have read that the only way is to go cold turkey because you continue to crave what is in your blood stream. I will watch all your videos. Super job!
haha i just at some girl scout cookies and a coke i had a sugar craving just then and now im feeling pretty relaxed im about to go to bed, i like your videos
I had a kale/spinach/celery/cabbage/ juice for breakfast. I feel kind of energized, but today's a lazy day. And I occasionally get sugar cravings, but I as of 13 days ago, I've not touched processed/sugary/fake foods. Only earths candy is what I eat now.
I have a habit of binging on sugary carbs, or even healthy proteins. I have an abnormally large apetite for my height (although I may be growing) and even though I eat a normal amount during the day, by dinner I feel starving and I feel like I am never full. After binging, I don't feel tired at all, but I can hear my heart beat extremely fast and I sweat alittle. Is this unhealthy, or is this a natural response to eating too much?
I think you are wonderful and very informative. I enjoy all your videos and I thank you for sharing all your knowledge with those of us who want to hear THE TRUTH.
last thing I ate was an egg salad sandwich with avacado instead of mayo on ezekiel bread. I stopped having cravings a while back when I stopped eating food that came in boxes. My sugar cravings ended 100% and I find it simply amazing. I think we should stop callings things that are manufactured food..period. Unfortunately the grocery store contains very little food and a whole lot of garbage. The only thing that is food are things that have life and grow.
Number 1 reason for weight gain, you guys are not going to believe this but if you eat more CALORIES than you burn you will gain weight where as if you eat less you will lose weight. Proven science
My last meal was 2 homemade sandwiches at work. One sandwich consists of 2 slices of bread, 2 slices of turkey and honey. It's what I eat at work most days. Works fine and I don't get hungry until I get home and make a real meal. I get sugarcravings about twice a month and just buy some candy :)
I am eating 2 eggs right now.....and before that I had fruit juice (fresh) and a bananna......I feel relaxed and mentaly energised. I rarly crave sugar but I ALWAYS crave salty foods...gravy, salted butterd bread, cheese, chips, fish. ect.
I ate ribs and didn't feel tired afterwards. I had a tea craving but just for the flavor not the sugar. Actually I hate sugary stuff. The M&M store gives me the biggest headache.
Hiyaaaa! Have you ever tried - fast abs magic (just google it)? Ive heard some unbelivable things about it and my sister got detailed 6 pack abs and lost crazy amounts of weight with it.
Hi hi! Have you heardabout - fast abs magic (google it)? Ive heard somegreat things about it andmy auntie got hot Six packabs and lost a lot of bellyfat with it.

I really don't give a shit about what I eat. I eat what tastes good. I do stay away from soda and sweets but I love red meat and potatoes and no amount of convincing will get me to cut back. I really don't care to live into my 80's or 90's. If I make it to my 60's I'll be happy.
too bad whole foods are more expensive and harder to prepare, even though id love to eat more healthy sometimes its not in my budget but my waist line is paying the price
Thank you for an excellent video with truthful information. I've been following a no sugar no starch program for over 4 months now and I've never felt better. The weight is coming off. I have more energy. I don't have cravings for any of the foods I've eliminated. Oh - and my diabetes is virtually cured.
So if cows eat a lot of grass, it equates to you eating a lot of grass when you eat their flesh?
Calories in, calories out. Eat all sugar, you'll be unhealthy, but so long as you don't exceed your output, you wont gain weight. Eating all processed food will reduce the volume of food eaten, and makes judging calories consumed, harder.
My last meal , peanut butter and butter on sour dough bread toast. Still eating . Energy has been run down a little bit. No on sugar cravings. I avoid adding sugar and sugary food and drinks.
The bread I eat is made of whole wheat flour, contains NO enriched bleached flour, and has "corn syrup solids". Although it is a corn byproduct corn syrup solids are not modified like high fructose corn syrup according to the research I have done. Not ideal, but it's the best I can do for right now.
So not counting the salad I'm eating right now, last thing I ate was grain bread french toast, w/ peanut butter & syrup on it. I felt like I had more energy after it, but it wasn't as sustaining as other foods. Oh, and yes I get sugar cravings all the time! I must be the small % of people though who wants to gain weight, though I try to do so by eating healthier, than just eating junk.
LOL at the image @11:03 I totally just looked it up on google images to show a friend too. It's insane how there is one entire aisle for cereal, one entire aisle for soda, and the fresh produce section is just this tiny little area in the top right of the image.
You could just make your own bread with the basics: flour, water, milk, yeast, sugar, salt. The amount of sugar is very minimal and distributed through the entire bread, although the flour itself is a carbohydrate which is turned into sugar in the body anyway, it's much better than commercially sold bread. Here in Japan, though, most commercially-sold bread is made with the basic stuff anyway, however whole-wheat and rye are very difficult to come by =/
i dont like this i cant find the video where she says what to do to lose weight and how to stop eating trying to find one from 2 days i cant find or is it have to visit site pay and then she says how to lose it?
here's the answer on why we get sugar cravings...that's your body telling you that you need water. you're actually dehydrated....soo please my friend drink plenty of fresh clean water...not tap water. eating sugar to take care of that sugar craving is a lose lose game, you're not making you body healthy.
I love your Videos, I am a professional chef , who works aboard merchant ships, and gives the crew what they want to eat NOT what I think they should eat , I'm a whole foods Guy, and have lost 80 lbs, got rid of Diabetes, & high Blood Pressure Eating Right , Keep the Videos Coming, I Love EM & share them on my Facebook , Good Work 7 lots of LOL
@glennbam Thanks so much for your comment and for sharing our vids, we sure appreciate it. Way to go on your 80lb weight loss and reversing Diabetes/High Blood Pressure, it's amazing what a conscious diet can do!
@blajas8 Think about it like this. It takes at least a large cluster of grapes to make a glass of grape juice. Imagine how much sugar that it. You would get the same nutrition from just a few grapes without the massive amount of sugar and you would feel a lot fuller because whole grapes have fiber. Juice essentially strips any fruits/vegetables of fiber unless they've just been freshly juiced.
@blajas8 It's because you lose all of the fiber when you just consume the juice. While fruit juice would be preferable over soda, eating the whole fruit is preferable to just drinking the juice. Also, read labels to make sure there isn't additional sugar or HFCS added.
@psychetruth I just wanted to make sure people knew the dangers of cutting out fiber by drinking fruit juices instead of consuming whole fruit. Please google for "cancer project food prevention"
An exert:
"In 1970, British physician Dennis Burkitt observed that a high-fiber diet reduces diseases of the digestive tract. He observed that in countries where diets are high in fiber, there were fewer cases of colon cancer."
i had piece of sprouted whole grain bread with coconut oil on top, one egg and two egg whites with a bit of cheese to make scrambled eggs, an apple, and tea. :) that was my breakfast. nummy. i feel great ^_^
There are enough cultures in this world that we can study to disprove the carbohydrate-makes-you-fat theory. Asian cultures eat white rice, South American cultures eat potatoes, beans, corn, etc. The Okinawan diet is heavily based (about 70% calories) upon the sweet potato. Really, the only culprits that should be eliminated or greatly reduced would be sugar and refined flour. Of course Asians do eat plenty of white (refined) rice.
I just love her videos. It is very informative and spot-on. I read widely on nutrition and this presenter manages to get the message over succintly and simple. Please keep up the good work. I can't wait for her next presentation. John from South Africa.
Last thing I ate was cheeseburger and french fries, and it left me with enough energy to spare. And I always have sugar cravings. It seems to calm me down
This is effed up,but the last thing I ate was Reces Pieces last night before bed.Sugar high.I had a small burst of energy and then I drank some chocolate milk. HOLY GOD. I am addicted to sugar. This is apparent. Thanks for this.We all need to see more stuff like this. I feel like Americans (and a lot of the world) are really miss-led, and the madness needs to stop. I don't want to be fat and stupid. I want to live a good life. Don't we all? THANKS corporate America for caring SO deeply about me.
Large OJ, plain hash browns with ketchup and tabasco, omelette with corned beef, swiss cheese, and sauerkraut also with ketchup and tabasco 2. Decreased my energy 3. Yes, all the time
@prosopopey She is not medically overweight and about five dress sizes smaller than the average American. Which is saying something since she is 6 foot tall.
@prosopopey Fat? She's VERY fit, you've got to be either a closet-fag, or jealous woman that hates herself, so you try to put down others for no good reason,..
I returned from army in the middle of last September, I was 90 kgs when I came home. I dont drink alcohol or sugary drinks but thanks to my love of calamary and shrimp Im 104 now :/ Its impossible to burn the energy you get from fried foods especially sea products.
1) gluten-free brown rice pasta with some cooked tofu and mixed veggies (mushrooms, bell peppers, snow peas) with some vegan tomato sauce. 2) i feel very full and satisfied even though i didnt over eat probably cuz its more than im used to being on the 80/10/10 diet 3) no sugar cravings except for fruit now. when i crave sugar, i eat fruit! fruit is the ultimate!
1) The last thing I ate were chocolate wafers 2) I am feeling sleepy and dizzy 3) I experience sugar cravings all the time, everyday and its a constant battle.
Last things I had were sushis, and I felt really satisfied after having it but not particularly energised or tired either. I generally craved for bread with cheese or a juicy orange...or sushis!!!
I ate pizza, seasoned with pepper, chili pepper, and garlic powder. I also ate chicken over rice from those halal food stand, which has a variety of other seasonings and lettuce. I also drank sweetened tea. I do have sugar craving sometimes. I also at half a bag of baked Cheetos yesterday. I also just started eating organic chocolate, and a bit more vegetables and fruits.
I stopped eating french fries long ago because I get tired after eating them.
lol well the organic chocolate is good! Hon..you're effected by most all processed foods one way or another. My son had high blood pressure..and he's a skinny 5'10"..Try to eat real food..organic ..I'd say.
Agave nectar is great stuff guys if you havent tried it...I found it way tastier than stevia...But after you get off the white crack you dont really need to sweeten your foods. Apples start tasting like dessert...
Do not eat anything processed and you will be ok. The corn used in this "foods" and to feed animals is GMO corn. We eat to much because the "food" we eat is nutrient deficient and when your body doesn't get the minerals and vitamins it needs it wants more food. When you get a sugar craving drink a protein shake.
Why do so many have to be negative. I'm sure that 90% of the people that watched this gained some valueable knowledge and info. The truth is the truth no need getting upset with the person who is telling you this truth. I found this video to be great and very informative. I appreciate the time and effort that has been done in order for us to gain some knowledge and helping us to better healthy lifestyle.
@uhltron Then why is obesity becoming a bigger and bigger problem?? In my opinion, the major food companies selling these foods (and marketing them to us shamelessly) are more at fault than we are personally.
@psychetruth People ARE personally at fault , they are capable of making their own decisions. We are not programmable robots incapable of free will. Also, some people are obese due to genetics. I can eat a whole cheesecake and a whole pizza and not gain a pound( not that i do). It is unhealthy for Eskimos to be exclusively vegetarian. I think in the future we will discover that every genotype has it's own specific nutritional needs . No such thing as one diet for all, in my opinion.
@psychetruth Hi Psychetruth - Businesses are there to sell, so we cannot rely upon major food companies to say eat better or else. Businesses will supply what people demand - so if demand is for a vegatable smoothy - businesses will inevitably supply this. In my opinion consumption behaviour is moulded more by governerment policy. For example 20 years ago smoking is Australia was cool and widespread however now it as almost a marginaised activity - primarily due to ad campaigns, policy ect
not only is the information in this video extremely helpful in losing weight. Eating foods with low glycemic index, foods that do not spike your blood sugars too quickly, has been proven to significantly reduce the risk of diabetes and help those who already have it to keep it in check.
Great video very informative, just one thing we have slow release carbohydrates that can top up our blood sugar levels.Maybe for a next video can do one about the different slow release carbs and how much you would need to eat in order to have a correct level of blood sugars. If i was to eat some oats which is a slow release. The amount of carbs absorbed into the blood would be slow not all at once. meaning that not all that isnt absorbed straight away would turn into fat if u get what i mean
I had a protein shake for breakfast. I'm slightly more energized now. I don't really get a whole lot of sugar cravings for "traditional sugary snacks" but I crave milk and white bread fairly often.
Beef Massaman Curry, and low fat ice cream. Energy didn't change at all, but was tired in the first place, although went to shoot some hoops afterwards.. and yes i get sugar cravings.
Weight loss is frustrating for me. I am STILL 50 lbs overweight and have not had a soda, fast food, candy bar, doughnut, alcohol, etc... in the last three years. My diet is almost entirely whole grains, fruits, veggies, and lean meats like salmon and chicken with careful attention to labels. On top I run 4-5 miles 4 days a week on top of a minimum of three days of weight training. What else can be done. It really makes me want to just say screw it and eat whatever I want and sit on my butt
Wow, you are1 smart chickie! I usually disagree with several things in videos about health. I whole-heartedly agree with you! I have been on the raw food diet for a full year. Really, the only culprits that should be eliminated or greatly reduced would be sugar and refined flour. Of course Asians do eat plenty of white (refined) rice.

CantWeedThis 1 month ago
Do not eat anything processed and you will be ok. The corn used in this "foods" and to feed animals is GMO corn. We eat to much because the "food" we eat is nutrient deficient and when your body doesn't get the minerals and vitamins it needs it wants more food. When you get a sugar craving drink a protein shake.

@uhltron Then why is obesity becoming a bigger and bigger problem?? In my opinion, the major food companies selling these foods (and marketing them to us shamelessly) are more at fault than we are personally.
psychetruth 1 month ago 5
@psychetruth People ARE personally at fault , they are capable of making their own decisions. We are not programmable robots incapable of free will. Also, some people are obese due to genetics. I can eat a whole cheesecake and a whole pizza and not gain a pound( not that i do). It is unhealthy for Eskimos to be exclusively vegetarian. I think in the future we will discover that every genotype has it's own specific nutritional needs . No such thing as one diet for all, in my opinion.
uhltron 1 month ago

Excellent video, thanks.
