how many remember. I can remember when I use to lose in the 7 stage and I never could pass to the final stage.

also, I never used cheat in this game because I didn`t know it has cheats.

I remember playing this when I was 7 or 6 I almost passed the whole game but the game broke :( but then 7yrs later my cuz had this for gameboy and finally passed the whole game it took me a long time to beat it like 2 whole weeks

i never saw this dudes review your talkin about but if he said contra is bad fuck him but dont say its easy(unless you upload gameplay of you beating it with 3 lives) the code is famous because it was impossible (exaggeration) to beat it.

Nice Response! Everything has been explained very clearly for Sizzler07 and for other people who have never played the game. After getting the spread gun from the blimp it is always good to get a rapid power up to go with it and then you are good to go.

I am 14. My favorite games are Half-Life (1997) and Castlevania SOTN. Now, Half-Life is not really old school, but SOTN kind of is and I love it. Still, sometimes I play my SNES instead of my Xbox 360 or PS2 just for the sake of reviving old classics.

cam studio works very fine, but when i play movie that i recorded, it has some glitches. ( not game or emulator fault)

Yeah that player is glitchy. But when you use a different player like Windows Media Player it works fine. If the sound is "distorted", lower the volume in CamStudio.

A week is a bit much. A rental of 3 nights for a game is sufficient to be able to judge it (or at least it was of games back in the day, 80's-90's).

Well IMO I think it should take a week at least unless you beat it sooner or something. People should make absolutely sure when they first play a game that they know what they are talking about before they give a full review and judge it. One week is comfortable for me, but maybe that's just me.

For doing a youtube review, sure. I guess I was thinking more in terms of "do I like this game or not" generally. Most people don't have time to play every game that long to see if they really like it or not. Though most teenagers have little excuse. ;)
