For studio recording, now i am using the above mentioned through a Hartke 3500 and an SWR 4 x 12 goliath ( my old bass rig) capured by 2 Shure SM57's off axis. The best advice i can give a guitarist looking for a more articulate tone is LESS GAIN.

what amp do you use and how do you mic your speakers? or do you use some sort of computer interface?
