Climate change is real! (Please check out the difference between climate change and anthropological global warming) The most you could argue is whether the current one is human driven or not. Either way it is deadly. Greenpeace did not even say for who, so it could be deadly for the polar bears, but what do we care, right?
Funny though how a statement like "climate change is deadly. get serious" has exactly the effect it should have, even though it is a completely vague statement.
kurthurtig, it seems the climate is always changing and has been changing since the earth had an atmosphere. If it isn't anthropogenic, why get one's boxers in a bunch? It's going to do what it's going to do. If it is anthropogenic (which I very seriously doubt) the supposed experts say if we quit producing CO2 completely--which is impossible--it won't make a difference anyway. So, what's the hubbub? Either way, we humans are just spectators. I'm for protecting the earth, but realistically.
It seems that it is a matter of believe then, which I do not believe =D. Even though everybody is talking about it anthropological global warming is only one side effect of a failed system, which started with the industrialization. The smog, the noise, the whole idea makes people sick (physically and mentally), so even if we are spectators in a global sense, we are still messing it up for ourselves and all species on a local level.
What do you think is the right way of protecting earth?
what ever we do there is always gonna be climate change
