I lived and loved the romance with the love of my life for 15 years. Ten years ago, he left his birthday celebration at a restaraunt to get his cigarettes from the car and was beaten in the parking lot by five kids with baseball bats because he had a PRIDE key fob and we had an HRC sticker on the car. According to witnesses, they stepped up to stop it, the five where yelling anti gay slurs. The cops did nothing despite descriptions.
My life ended the next day at the hospital when Ray's did.

If someone feels so strongly about a persons private life, that they have to beat them to death, then they are mentally unbalanced, and yet society turns a blind eye.
