Elvis did not need drugs to have fun. Elvis had a wonderful sense of humor. Elvis was always known for goofing off during rehearsals as well as concerts. Elvis could be both serious and silly. That is why Elvis s a wonderful man in every way. I will always love Elvis.

The master of 'Rags To Riches' is one of my favourite Elvis recordings - the emotion in and power of his voice is spellbounding. Fantastic.

It seems Elvis was somewhat frustrated with the frogs in his voice during the first take we hear here, and after the fun and banter, the voice returned with a bang!

I love the high note at the end - what a range this man had!

1970 is Elvis's best year. He broke all the vegas records and got the Gold belt as a reward for it. His voice was at his best, nice and grungy. He looked amazing! he had a awesome movie come out which was Thats the way it is. He played the Huston stadium which is MONSTER of a place at that time. I think his song selections were the best this year too.

@OfficialRobbieMason I would have to agree. His Aloha from Hawaii concert in 1973 was fantastic, and I believe was his greatest rendition of An American Trilogy and What Now My Love, but I agree 1970 was probably his finest year. So many great songs from that year, and That's The Way It Is was an incredible film! And just the best voice ever!!

I love Elvis so much. He surely knew how to sing and how to entertain the audience. He must have had a lotta fun with his band and entourage during the concert years though he was getting ill and tired in the last years until 1977....

Great "fly-on-the-wall" outtake of a really well-done song but its an unfortunate use of much later Elvis looking in rather poor shape.

Interesting in some cases and rare but c'mon, pull up some great 1970 shots if it's the Nashville Marathon recordings from 1970!
