Play me never got the airplay it deserved because of Song Sung Blue. That came out at the same time as Play Me and the record co executives didn't care about Play Me, they were obsessed with promoting song sung blue and that's why Play Me wasn't a bigger hit. Whenever i hear song sung blue on the radio i change the station.
