  • @mr4963 soz about the comment i accidentally voted down, thanks for the comment i am thinking of doing a layout very similar but with DCC

  • @Devildude899 DCC is the way to go and will enhance the Trackmat , I may upgrade someday.

  • I like this verry much when did you get the trackmat and what set did you get it with

  • @drumhead1999 I got the Trackmat about four year ago with the "Flying Scotsman" set, and added all the extra

track sets to make up the full Trackmat layout.

  • I like it very good

  • where did u get the photo background?

  • @sammyjammywammy

Any good Model Rail stockist will have them, they are called "Scenic Backgrounds"

  • I continue to hate the trakmat layout, but you've done an absolutely stunning job on the scenery. +1

  • @leeham991 Thank you

  • coooool

  • Lovely! I wish I could be as good as that at modelling! Amazing work! Love it!

  • Superb improvement on the basic suggested Hornby layout. The Metcalfe buildings look really great, better than the plastic ones.

  • nice layout what edition track plan is it and i have the same church as you

  • how have you done the hills and what glue was used for the buildings

  • @samster412 The contours of the hills are formed by cardboard ribs then covered with layers of news paper torn into strips and pasted on with PVA glue.

I use Super Glue for the buildings.

  • great!, the track mat wasent very realist layout, but you have turned it into something great!, i am building y layout to my own design

  • Great bid very nice layout

  • what i would do is make it bigger

    ie longer and wider

  • a very nice take on the classic trackmat layout!

  • @easyJetAirbus Thanks for your comment

  • Theres one problem with this layout, its SO much better than the one on the Hornby Trakmat ! Iv subbed !
