  • humperdincks goin in yiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

  • As a boy in the 70's my dad was a big music fan loved everything, tured me and my 3 brothers on to engelbert humperdink and is was on from there, never turning back he's been with us ever since. He is the king of romance he never let's me down when it comes to first dates he is the man to get you some leg for sure,to you guys who never heard him throw some on and get ready for a night of magic with your favorite girl and you'll be top dog.

  • @rocknrollgangster1 It's funny the influence of our parents music has on us. I grew up with easy listening music in the 60's and 70's: Herb Alpert, Engelbert, Tom Jones, Andy Williams, Dusty Springfield, Burt Bacharach, etc.. Although I did not care much for it then, I am addicted to the genre now. Specific songs trigger strong fond memories.

  • @frknnutz Don't forget Percy Faith, Billy Vaughn, Henry Mancinia(?) just to mention a few. What great music.

  • @Ray63301 Hehe...They are all in my playlist. I'm on a business trip to Mexico City and the playlist is with me! Here it is: Nancy Sinatra: You only live twice, Some velete morning, Summer wine Andy Williams: Can't get used to loving you Herb Alpert: Casino royale, Lonely bull, This guy's in love with you Glenn Cambell: Witchita Lineman Ray Charles & WIllie Nelson: Seven spanish angels Stan Getz: Take five, Girl from Ipanema Jon Barry: Midnight Cowboy This guy's in love you ........
  • @frknnutz

I think we are of the same era. You've summed it up perfectly! The memories triggered watching these masters on youtube has had me ordering Herb Alpert, Andy Williams, Brazil 66 and Englebert CDs galore, esp. with the recent passing of my father who loved his easy listening...

  • @frknnutz Agreed. Luckily I had parents who played music throughout the house all day in the 60s and 70s. we stayed away from the TV and just listened as we did out stuff around the house.

    Those were days indeed.

The glorious 60s. I need a time machine, so I can gop to Vegas and see all of the greatest performers who were not created by electronic 'enhancements'...

  • @frknnutz Same with me. Those Singers and Roy Orbison,Dean Martin,Marty Robbins,Nat King Cole,Patsy Cline,The Lettermen,Elvis Presley,The Platters,Gene Pitney,Bobby Vinton,Dionne Warwick,Neil Diamond,Paul Anka,All the 1950s Rock And Roll Pioneers. While back then I was into Elvis Presley,1950s Rock And Rock Pioneers,All the Pop,Rock,R&B,Soul,Dance Music Groups and Singers. You know the Singers I didn't like back then grew on me years later. • This is an amazing song. Listen to EH. What a powerful voice. It doesn't crack or break. Especially, when he goes high, he can really take it to the limit. Bring back a lot of memories putting a quarter in the Juke Box for 3 plays back in the 60s and slow dancing to his music with the girl who became the love of my life.

  • I grew up on 60s rock and roll. Everything from Beatles, to Stones, to Dylan, to Motown, to WABC, and while Englebert (and Tom Jones) were a little schmaltzy, they had great voices and were very underrated as singers. I remember Englebert's and Tom's television variety shows which were both a lot of fun.

  • Fabulous, thanks for loading *****

  • i wish i was born thirty years earlier

  • hes the bollocks but i am worried

  • Engelbert you're marvelous and my wife Frida and I Carmel love to hear you sing.

  • @joshwelljonesfirst That is NOT Tom Jones at 2:08. Threir voices were not even close to each other. That was pure Engelbert. He's miming the recorded version on that clip, but it is Engelbert.

  • 2.08 That's Tom jone's voice hitting the high note's, 98.99% sure/ nice dubbing,,

  • 2.08 That's Toms voice hitting the high note's ?????
