Don't you realize your Xbox 360 could play Quake 3/Quake Live perfectly (even an original Xbox could play it very well with some setting changes)? This wasn't Quakecon 2011 where they were showing Rage for the first time or something.
After being a QuakeCon girl you change your "whole perspective" on gaming. That's ridiculous. Why would anyone care at all about what you think? You should be embarrassed you had such stupid ideas about it at first, there's something a bit wrong about this video.

Internet penetration is estimated to hit 90% as soon as the raw materials to do so are ready. Tv shows seem to survive, but the movie industry is also dieing. SOPA/PIPA/ACTA was the last pathetic form of Hollywood lobbyism to try and halt the progaming/gaming, internets expansion, but they fail :)

Guess how the artists make millions and their CD whatevermanagershitiscalled and the actors making millions aswell. Where gaming companies dont make as much, far from it. It isn't the flashiest of all the games out there, but the gameplay is solid and Valve continues to update with free content.Not to mention it's genuinely funny. Get plugged into Steam and have some fun enjoying the wicked sick deals you can get on games. Welcome to the world of PC gaming, it's a lot of fun.

Claire I was there at quakecon and I had a good time as well, but I didn't get to stay very long and enjoy the whole QCon experience, because I had to work during the day! But! Living in Dallas did allow me to pop back in QCon at various times and experience some of the latest high-tech exhibits in PC gaming. It puts a smile on my face to see how your quakecon experience has converted you from the fixed components of console gaming to high performance PC gaming world with unlimited upgrades!
