Some of them look beyond restoration but good for parts. But it looks like some of them might have potential for restoration, especially that Nomad. Hope they cover that back up until someone can do something with it.
Let me guess, A really old man in a wheel chair comes out and says " None are for sale boys, I plan on restoring these someday." If i had $1 for everytime I've got that responce.. I would be a millionaire
I've been there. It's about 200 miles west of fort worth on interstate 10. He fixes them up and sells them in europe and Japan. Nice guy but he won't sell them
There are some nice donors in that lot...anybody who's doing an off-frame resto on a 55-57 Chevy (particularly replacing rotted-out body panels) would like to know exactly where this is.
several thousnads$ in parts there sell them keep a couple of the better cars to fix let people enjoy them before they end up in china or japan and become toyotas or hondas
My first car was a 1957 Chevy Bel Air (4-door, post). I bought it in August 1964 (I was 17), it had the 283" motor with small 4-barrel (rated at 220 HP). I paid $600 and it was mint. Drove it until I was drafted (Vietnam) in February of 1969. It was a really special car for me although, sadly, when I returned from the War- November 70 with a 3 month "early out," my dad had sold it ($200) and bought me a new '70 Plymouth Roadrunner w/383/4-spd pistol grip & 8 track indash. Still miss my '57.
Hey there. I'm responding to your awesome film of wrecked Chevies. Can you either help or put me onto the Guy that owns the yard. I'm from New Zealand by the way, but am after interior stainless windows parts for a 56 coupe. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks, Jeff. Contact details 117 Dixon Street. Masterton. New Zealand. Thanks

Pretty sure this place is just north of Waco.. it has to be the same place. If this is the same place, they are a small shop that does nothing but restorations of 55-57 Chevy's. They had a few resto-mod style cars inside their shop, but mostly original style restorations.
such beatutes! all in bad but repairable shape here in england our weather is cold wet not like in usa its hot so your cars last longer out side then ours plus you have graveyards for types of cars! all we have is a graveyard of cars
Where in Texas? I'm from Tyler and a few years ago when I dragging back my 72 vette I was in big spring,tx out sorta by midland and oddessa and this guy had a place just like that, also spotted a 70 cuda 440 6 pack next to a shed behind the old farm house. Looked deserted. If I had more time and hadn't had the vette i woulda brought one of the cars home
That's sad I whish people could restore all these good classics in the states I'm 15 yrs n I'm restorein my car its my 1st car n I love it n I'm fixin to restore an old ford truck after I'm done with my car
Dang some of them 2 door ones can be restored with all the reproduction parts now you can buy for them. Not so much with my Classic Rare mopar that I have its like pulling Hens teeth and luck finding a part.
@restodan do you know where any 1969 camaros or chargers or roadrunners are? i love saving them if you know where any might be? or if you find some maybe let me know?
....these classic chevys have wound up at the right place, a classic restoration place, so its doubtful that any of the ones that need to be rebuilt, will go to waste and the ones that are parted out, save or give new life to other classic cars. Its neat to see that they are still out there waiting.
man, I thought there for a minute you were in heaven! we dont have junk yards like that around here. seems like everything over 20 years old goes to the crusher
This is amazing. I would love to check this place out some time. What is it called?

Too many classic Chevys just stand still, they are made for driving :)
