I don't get why people don't like LaBrie's vocals. I think they're really good. Perhaps a little more pop sounding than metal, but who cares? It's still good, and he makes it work. If he wasn't good, they wouldn't have stuck with him for so long.

This song had to influence Nobuo Eumatsu's writing for the Final Fantasy VII soundtrack. So many of the themes are in here. I've just always thought that.
