According to a detective working the case, Kiara Hill is claiming there were no stolen goods inside the house when she entered, then she "fell asleep", then the house was raided and all of a sudden all the stolen goods appeared! Can they charge them with "armed robbery" with this video evidence? A conviction for armed robbery might get them a whole month in jail; rather then the 48 hour hold Dekalb county normally fails us with! I would suggest that a letter writing campaign to the Judge and Prosecutor be passed a virulently as the videos of the break in. Also, the larger the group of neighbors in court, the less likely the Judge will pass the buck! Contact your Neighborhood Organization or arresting Police Zone.

Our house in virginia highland was broken into several months ago and he not only stole my digital slr and a dvd player but took a shower, stole my husbands clothes and drank the best beer in the frig. First of all, to the people who posted - our detective in South Precinct, DeKalb said that they've met with APD on this and are jointly working on suspects, so strong work. I also recently had a break in in nearby Savannah Ga. Cops and detectives there also didn't seem to care and did a poor job tracking the criminal despite stolen credit card records showing they filled up at a nearby gas station with video cameras. I wish I did (that is the aggravating part). I was in Middle Georgia when I received a call from the alarm company at 12:10.  They immediately dispatched police. The police stated they inspected the area and could see where forced entry was attempted (it did not appear at the time they had been able to get in the house). The police left at 12:30 and the a-holes came back at 12:40 and this time got into the house!! They had to be watching for when the police came and left.
