driving my Montero Sport after intake install

I'm a big fan of the nissan xterra but this looks like a worthy opponent as well! Plus Xterras are far out of my budget because they are expesive since being around for a decade. I am now considering a misubishi montero sport, so I can survive another brutal new england winter. LOL awesome truck, nothing like good old japanese engineering! what year is it?

i just did that to my montero and its good. there is one major problem with the montero , the fuel pump coming out of the tank has pipes that rust really bad after about 10 years leading to a bad fuel leak

i got on ebay and got a short ram intake for a 1999 Honda Accord. then got a MAF adaptor for a V6 eclipse. it all bolts together nicely. i had to cut a couple inches off of the intake pipe to get it to fit better.

there are companies that make intakes for the montero sport, but if you on a buget like most of america these days, i would recomend making one yourself like i did.

YOU CAN RUN ETHANOL!!!! You can run a 1/3 mix of 91-93 unleaded, and 2/3 105 octane Ethanol in this baby!!!!

Decided to try it in mine one day, and it worked GREAT! Called the Mitsu dealer Tech department to see if I was hurting anything, and they told me it is DESIGNED to run it!

Not only have I been getting INSANE Horsepower increase for the last year, but 48.6 MPG! No joke!

its a 3.5 and it seams like it gets going a tad bit faster. but not real noticable. the sound of the engine is noticable.
