  • Sweet. Thanks for the upload

  • No people!! The dislike button isn't a download link.

  • Love the song but what I DON'T MISS are the 80's-style fake "TV concerts" where the band lip-syncs and air-guitars to the radio track. After the guitar solo, the guitarist doesn't know if he should sustain the last note or go back to playing rhythm LOL

  • @12centuries piss off this was a great band.

  • @sdeisme Obviously it's a great band, that's why I'm watching their videos. I'm not talking about the band, I'm talking about the way broadcast television used to do "live" music. It's bad for bands and bad for us watching!

  • Rumor has it Justine Beiber plans to remake this

  • Dear God help us.Cannot anything be left undefiled.

  • @truthhawk7 I was joking

  • @MrMegas2 So was I. Hello!

  • 80"s rock is still the best

  • The sound....the heart .....the love.....The sheer talent

    80's - 90's forever

  • gone are the days where we could listen to a true and beautiful music such as this. I really miss those days

  • 80s music was the best ever!!! There is no comparison between then and now.

  • Jimi is amazing. Better than Dave IMO. I'm glad he rejoined the band.

  • TOTALLY UNDER-RATED BAND..BETTER THAN MOST BAND OF TODAY !!!GOOD SOUND..GOOD WRITING...TIGHT MUSICIANS !

  • @daibkid why underrated? they wrote the soundtrack of Rocky, one of the most important film series in history; Eye of the Tiger is one of the most known rock songs; Jamison sung the Baywatch theme; Survivor aren't underrated, they have been obscured by the greedy major labels who follow the trend to make easy money!

  • yeeehaaaaa Jimi just rejoined Survivor

  • this is real music

  • Such a happy tune. Gives me great memories 10 years back although it's older than my age.

  • They stole this from a friend of mine for reals. But he didn't have the money to fight them for the rights. Turds.

  • 28 people MUST be deaf!!!!!

  • Damn fine lookin man!! My sister and I use to drool over him--Jimmie Jamison!! LONG time ago!!

  • This is frickin' good. 80's rock was the best. Today's 'music' sucks.

  • the best Awsome Song

  • Guys used to pull their pants up.

  • Here's to you Uncle Frank Chase for introducing me to a whole new world of music. Love you.... RIP!!!!!

  • survivor-- for surviving :-) todays-- ps. The singer resembles Don Dokken from '79

  • This.... is my jam

  • @KatieeBug445 If this is your jam, what's your toast?

    /incredibly lame pun

  • when I first heard this song way back in the day I loved it so my I flipped flopped!

I'm 50 now, and still flip flopn***** ;-D

  • @buderboi Yep! I still do the same.

  • Great song and video from one of the best shows that was on tv highlighting pop music Solid Gold. Thanks for posting it.

  • ....Legend Survivor....

  • I remember when music actually meant something.

  • @packer041 Yep. It was the reason I loved music so much.

  • The best time of my life! long live the 80'S

  • The best time of my life! long live the 802

  • hermosooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • His voice sounds a lot like Steve Perry's.

  • Beautifull voice ! Great band ! Thanks ! ~♥♪♥♫♥~

  • I heard this song once too many years ago, and a few days ago I was walking and I started to sing it, and Today I decided to find and I found it...lol

  • One of the best songs I have ever heard. It captures the 1980s for me. Jamison fleshes out this song as though he was standing next to you. Thanks guys. MD

  • mann kids today are soo fucked. they gotta deal wit dis fucked up world AND grow up with a music industry force feedin em crap.

  • Jimi is truly amazing and a sweet friend

  • let me tell ya bout the girl i had last night ;)

  • another song for nicole love you 4 ever

  • Jimmy Jamison my thrid favorite singer of all time. Survior had some great songs in the late 80's that were never big hits, but they should of been.

  • @999YORK they were nevber big hits? yea they did they got high placings in the billboard 100, they also had 3 big hits in the uk as from uk, rember goin to states few times as a kid and they were always on tv etc

  • @mikekaraoke I'm sorry I did not explain myself well. Surviror did have big hits like "High On You" and the "Search Is Over", but by Mr. Jamison own admission they had a great album out around 1988-1989 that he said was their best album, but the songs released were never pushed. Listen to "Didn't Konw It Was Love"or I See You In Everyone". It was unfortunate this album was pushed. Also, great singers in the 80's. How can anyone forget the incredible voice of Freddy Curci (from Sheriff/Alias)

  • I'm a 50 yr old fossel, but I love this song, I remember it way back in the day!

    ;-D

  • I AM AN EIGHTIES BABY!..and they say history repeats itself..i hope this rings true for the music of my era..all diff not sounding the same and saying what you feel..long live the 80's!

  • @TheNonners1 Lady Gaga's recent cd of music, sounds like she is trying to bring it back. There are quite a bit of songs on it that have that 80's feel and sound to it. Electric Chapel is one that sounds the most like it was breaking into the 80's and helping it come back. I think it was made as a tribute of some sort to Billy Idol's White Wedding. It is awesome, I advise listening to it.

  • "Talking to myself, running in the heat, begging for your touch in the middle of the street..." Thumbs up if you know the feeling : )

  • i am 16 yrs old and I want to travel back in time with all my friends and boyfriend just to show them how the real life looks, how the real music sounds.... it's sad that our parents had much better life, they have played as a children, and today we are sitting in front of computer playing games and chating on facebook wiht people who we don't even know instead of going out...

  • I agree and heres why, back in the 60s music took a wild and creative turn, so the youth of the 60s who didnt have todays electronic distractions, turd to music,by the 70s there was a music store on every corner.I got my 1st electric guitar in 76.Every other kid in urban America was learning to play.so by the 80s there was hundreds of bands to choose from in every catagory. Also there were no real wars and the economy was ok so songs reflected love and good times. Now kids play xbox

  • One of the best singers ever!

  • haha so cheesy it's good

  • I hope hes not singing about screwing a prostitute!!

  • This is the song that my boyfriend chose for 'our song'. :)

  • such complete intoxication........ I love you........

  • I got hooked on your love...and yes I am living in a fantasy world.....Fantastic feeling in the singing and only speechless for the guitar player.....Great song, great band..............

  • Whenever I listen to this song I think of the very first time we met...........so very similar.......<3 <3 <3

  • I love this song.. My Baby sent it to me tonight.. :) I Love You Dave.. Muah.. I am on you too.. :)

  • Si, yo tambien era una adolecente, en esa epoca !y recuerdo que mi hermano mayor escuchaba survivor, lo maximo!!! Realmente viva esa decada de los 80!!

  • suvivor rocks!!!!!!!!!!

  • luv it. lov d 80's gr8 song

  • I hate today's music; it's crap, I love the 80's.

    I'm 14.

  • @hardluckliana You'll love the Cars too. Search for Bye Bye love. Ben Orr and JJ were the best lead singers of that era

  • @hardluckliana wow....glad to hear you like the music of yesterday at only 14...My kid only listens to rap...this was my high school days...music is NOT music today...I evened noticed that American Idol singers are singing the songs back in the day...Even they know the music of today sucks..

  • Who's Justin Bieber??

  • I just saw Jimi Jamison in concert on Sunday at Mohegan Sun. Great show. He still has it.

  • I thought most of Survivor's songs were schmaltzy, but Jimi Jamison... DAMN, what a great voice!

  • Jerome Garib: Trinidad.it was awsome may 14th 2011 @ d queens parkoval p-o-s, were jimi jamison ,rick springfield, richard maxx, micheal bolton.give us the very best of the 80's wish those days can come back again.............we hard a great time....

  • I agree - the 80's were the bomb being 19. I still remember going to Cal Jam II in 78' and attending many more. Being born and raised in So Calif in the 80's were the funnest times I have had. The music was awesome back then to top it off.

  • Im 13 years old and i have something to say :)

    MUSIC THESE DAYS SUCK!!!!!!!

  • @thetoybocks wow, the 80's and 70's wer good but dude your 13 how can u not like todays music?? its just sad.....

  • @THEgearsofgh sounds like the 13 year old is just extremely smart and has good taste in music. there is the odd song that is good these days, but for the most part, today's music is horrible. the 70's, 80's and early 90's are and will always be far superior. music changed dramatically around 1994 for the worse. you can almost trace it to the death of kurt cobain.

  • amo survivor, amo jimi.quanta saudade da minha adolescencia.

  • Why wasn't I alive during this generation? It was the best..

  • @hardluckliana Heart that before....

  • @hardluckliana You got that right! I was 13 when this song came out

  • @hardluckliana I was just turning into a teenager when the 80's decade got started. It was the best decade of music ever!!

  • Lead looks like Freddie mercury

  • What a great song.....

  • I like Survivor, but this is soooo lip-synced. Not a complaint-- just an observance.

  • @boowitz No dude. This isn't Lip Sync. This is the "Real Deal" compared to all of the other shit today.

  • They sound as good as ever. Love the memories- the 80s were the BEST!

  • waow good song :D

  • 25 trolls really meant to,,,,,,,,DIS I LIKE!

  • whats he say around 122 when he says so so alittle crazy

  • Great vocals. Graet song.

  • I was a teen in the eighties, and remember the music

had heart, soul and passion. I encourage any young

music fans to look back to this era. Survivor was just

one of many great bands, from The Cars to Foreigner.

    Long live the 80's!

  • @MikeS0727 I agree and heres why, back in the 60s music took a wild and creative turn, so the youth of the 60s who didnt have todays electronic distractions, turd to music,by the 70s there was a music store on every corner.I got my 1st electric guitar in 76.Every other kid in urban America was learning to play.so by the 80s there was hundreds of bands to choose from in every catagory. Also there were no real wars and the economy was ok so songs reflected love and good times. Now kids play xbox

  • @MikeS0727 so was I. Both my kids love it. My daughter 18, also got made fun of for liking 80's music but she could care less what others think. Can't beat the 80's music!

  • @ratterrierlady I am still picked on for loving the 80's. I was born in 88, so I didn't get much out of it until I got older and 95% of my music is 80's. My husband picks on me for as well, oh well, what can you do? It was the best years for music.

  • I think its really cool that younger people like 80's music and not all of that new crap!

  • gracias survivor por los buenos tiempos que nos regalaste

  • @bythedog

The happiest, most generous post I have seen on youtube. You made me smile...in East Finchley, North London. Thanks.

  • @n2andy Thank you!! Your comment made my day!! ;-} We use to cruise and hold hands till our palms were sweaty listening to this! MAN, I was CRAZY in love with that girl!!!! • This song is very special in my life. Jimi Jamison is a great singer. Unfortunately in this video is only a playback

  • Good song, super cheesy 80's lyrics :-)

  • Another favorite Survivor song..Survivor RAWKS!!

  • @cutecutedemons Acyually it is David Bickler that does the Real Men of Genious ads. He was the lead singer before Jimi Jamison who is lead singer in this any many more Survivor hits.

  • I recorded this song from casey kassems top 40 count down, on that pre-historic thing they call a tape recorder, and played the tape for my girlfriend. That was a great summer to remember.

  • survivor is a great band a proper one world class ive been afan all my life and this is pure brill thanks for giveing the chance to see it.

  • One of my favorite songs also. since I watched mall cop I could not get that other song out of my head & did not know it was survivor LOL, so now Im really hooked on survivor songs :)

  • 25 people were too sober to see :(

  • Such a cool lil riff lmao

  • very good song.

  • What happened to the good old music like this? LadyProwler

  • @TheLadyprowler

It went the way of the Model-T Ford car, the dinosaur, nickel candy, and real musicianship. All extinct, all gone. Dead and buried, just memories from a wonderful time many decades ago. RIP.....good music. You're gone but not forgotten.

  • love survivor ... love their songs

  • ribmans woman @ghobson1530...you have a poets soul.

  • Timeless song.

  • @MrTommy001 I agree with you, I also think Steve Perry is a more accomplished vocalist but just thought that the lead singer's voice here was similar to Perry's.

  • His voice sounds eerily similar to Steve Perry's...
