If you guys like this film, you should check out the directors other movies, a time for drunken horses and half moon by bah man ghobadi. He's amazing BFF. Hollywood directors with their million dollar budgets can't beat what he does. He writes his own scripts, films, directs, produces etc. He barely makes anything from them either.

Let me explain something. During saddam's reign, he tried to wipe out the Kurds through chemical bombings, raids on their villages etc. Again is raped by baathist soldiers (Arabs) who kill her parents. I just saw the movie...omg...great...and just like a half hour ago I figured out the little kid was the little girls son...so weird...weird..i didnt pick up on that cause the girl was so young..i didnt think she couldve gotten pregnant from the soldiers....best movie ive seen in a long time.
