I am a soldier with 3 deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan, combat arms not some desk jockey. Pissing on people is not in accordance with military values. For certain not in accordance with the Army values.

Hello. If there is no act of war by congress, there is no war. Therefore the Geneva Convention rules do not apply. So if you want to try these guys for anykind of immoral war type crimes... First you need to examine the fact that we arent legally at war. Same with Vietnam, they called it a police action. Does that not mean you do not have to abide by the GC rulings?

@LowEndBCC I doubt that would hold up in any court of law. Washington DC calls it a war and every bill they sign and approve calls it a war. I agree that it isn't a Constitutionally validated war and we should't be there in the first place, but the President owns it...as a war. Besides, do you really need the Geneva Convention to tell you not to pee on fallen enemy combatants? There are already rules in the UCMJ about this type of behavior so it really doesn't matter if it's a war or not.

I'm an active duty US soldier, with a little over 16 yrs under my belt. What these Marines did IS NOT the norm. It's a disgrace. There have been to many dishonorable acts by service members giving me, my guys, & every other honorable member of the US Armed Forces a bad name. And those in uniform, giving us a bad name, should be (& most times will be) dealt with.
That was mild compared to what our soldiers did to the Viet Congs. Viet congs' ears in jars with sulphuric ether or dropping a few from helicopters in order for the others to talk. That craps happen in Vietnam. When the viet congs overran a position, they would cut the penis off and put in the american soldier mouth. On the other hand how about tide detergent and gasoline mixed together and put in a viet cong's butt to get him talk. This went on, but you never hear about it.

We train these 18 year olds to KILL, and they do a fine job at it. BUT, there are byproducts created by that.

We(US) have lost 10 men to IED's already in 2012, the airforce lost 3, Army lost 6, Navy lost 1. The youngest casualty was 20 years old, all of these men worked in the field of IED detection/ordinance disposal. You have to remember that we operate alongside Afghan nationals who really dont hold allegiance to our cause, what happens when these men start giving information to their Taliban cousins and brothers? I suspect as much is happening already with the targeted killings of our IED techs.

I want people to stop and think for a minute and ask yourself one question, what proof exist that the dead Afghans were actually combatants? I see two men and one possible youth who are plainly dressed in what appears to be the edge of a field and there's a wheelbarrow at their feet, no ammo pouches, no fallen weapons, just a bottle of water. I'm not judging but any tribunal will want to know where was the proof that these men were armed fighters.

@LowEndBCC I doubt that would hold up in any court of law. Washington DC calls it a war and every bill they sign and approve calls it a war. I agree that it isn't a Constitutionally validated war and we should't be there in the first place, but the President owns it...as a war. Besides, do you really need the Geneva Convention to tell you not to pee on fallen enemy combatants? There are already rules in the UCMJ about this type of behavior so it really doesn't matter if it's a war or not.

There have been to many dishonorable acts by service members giving me, my guys, & every other honorable member of the US Armed Forces a bad name. That was mild compared to what our soldiers did to the Viet Congs. Viet congs' ears in jars with sulphuric ether or dropping a few from helicopters in order for the others to talk. That craps happen in Vietnam. When the viet congs overran a position, they would cut the penis off and put in the american soldier mouth. On the other hand how about tide detergent and gasoline mixed together and put in a viet cong's butt to get him talk. This went on, but you never hear about it.

We(US) have lost 10 men to IED's already in 2012, the airforce lost 3, Army lost 6, Navy lost 1. The youngest casualty was 20 years old, all of these men worked in the field of IED detection/ordinance disposal. You have to remember that we operate alongside Afghan nationals who really dont hold allegiance to our cause, what happens when these men start giving information to their Taliban cousins and brothers? I suspect as much is happening already with the targeted killings of our IED techs.

In my opinion, these soldiers have displayed the type of behavior one would expect from an aggressor and not a defender. Desecration is not something I would expect from someone that is trying to defend themselves or others, but we're over there attacking them, so sadly, this type of behavior is bound to happen from time to time.

I want people to stop and think for a minute and ask yourself one question, what proof exist that the dead Afghans were actually combatants? I see two men and one possible youth who are plainly dressed in what appears to be the edge of a field and there's a wheelbarrow at their feet, no ammo pouches, no fallen weapons, just a bottle of water. I'm not judging but any tribunal will want to know where was the proof that these men were armed fighters.

You get what you deserve is correct. They drug our dead, decapitated soliders through the streets of their cities while the crowds, spat, beat and degraded the bodies of our soliders. So they got what they deserved.

Did you see the video's with the GI's blowing up a dog and throwing a puppy off a cliff? The military is warping these young solidiers minds so they can't tell right from wrong and they don't give a damn who and what they kill. They are de-sensitizing them just in time to bring them home to police us! Ron Paul is like Obi Wan Kinobi. He's our only hope! :-)

totally agree TMOT. They filmed it. They uploaded it and now they need to face the consequences. The military should take some responsibility too because these GI's are all messed up mentally from doing way too many tours. I think showing this video over & over on TV is an attempt to provoke another war. They supposedly didn't show us Bin Laden being killed for fear it would spark unrest with the muslim world. What do they think this video is going to do? We need Ron Paul stat!

@tmotofga T - Youtube is a public,so it leave your house when you pit it out there. The only reason I put something on you tube is to get a review or opinion. T stop and think, when God gave out sense he sure did not give it all to me and you. As an old school (65), I learn each and everyday that what I say isn't always right, We learn from each other. At least I do, some don;t. At 65 I am still learning and I really do appreciate that.
