On the contrary, I strive to wear full length clothes at Indian weddings though I'm not a hijabi. I try my best not to indulge in any non-Islamic activities at these kinds of weddings. I cover my hair during the recitation of a surah out of respect.

Covering the hair isn't a problem to any non Muslim I know. Covering the face is, and for many Muslims I know as well. Hiding your face and refusing to communicate is what people purposely keeping themselves threateningly separate from the community do. The only people who want to be separate from society but move within it are generally criminals.
@dshbjk What about Batman, Spiderman, Iron Man and the Green Hornet? They all cover their faces and they work to protect society. Wearing a niqab (face veil) is not cutting oneself off from society, it's bowing to tradition and culture and an expression of religious freedom. And yes, niqabis can be superheroes too! I'm a multi-spiritual person that is a Muslim (please don't ask how I work that out because it would take more than Youtube comment to explain) and I want to follow hijab simply because I do believe that God wants women to present themselves in a respectable manner, that women are human beings as well and should be seen and treated as such, not as sex objects.

It is important to read the section fully. One should not take part of the verse and use it to justify one's own misconduct.

@lishey100 This verse neither permits violence nor condones it. The word "beating" is used in the verse, but it does not mean "physical abuse". The Prophet (p.b.u.h.) "dharban ghayra mubarrih" which means "a light tap that leaves no mark". He further said that face must be avoided. Some other scholars say light touch by siwak, or toothbrush.
@lishey100 A light tap means that the wife has done something unacceptable. So if the husband hits her its to let them know that what they did was wrong but punishing doesn't mean bruising. What you have to understand is that the Qu'ran was written a long time ago and it's what God said unlike The Bible its not what Paul said or what John said. And I recommend that you read the Holy Qu'ran then you'll see that Islam is a beautiful religion and then have opinions . DON"T RELY ON THE MEDIA!!!!!!!

Just because u r of a certain religion doesn't mean you can't respect someone of another religion. I myself am a Muslim and I can understand why they might want a ban on hijabs. I really like your videos. May Allah reward you for the time you put to make these videos to remind us the truth, In my opinion i think its a lot more difficult to practice the hijab properly in todays society due to society around us, the media and who we make as our role models (celebrities, models, singers etc..), but i guess it just proves to show how strong our faith in Allah is. Scholars doubt this and its is thought that she got married between the age of 9 and 19, many people just repeat this like a parrot without researching the topic. secondly you seem to mix Hijab with Niqab, france only banned Niqab in public places.

You're also not allowed to wear head coverings in public buildings i.e the town hall. I used to live in France and Secularism is protected at all times - the ban will spread through Europe and it's long overdue.

This ban on Hijab was used in Muslim cuntries like Turkey, Tunisia and even Syria in the 80s but didnt solve the probelm, in fact it caused more polarization in the society. Plus people will challange it legally because its against human rights.

Christianity spread through Europe after the Roman invasion. Islam, Christianity and Judaism all started in the Middle-East - that would be NOT in Europe then. Catholic Spain was invaded by Muslims and this invasion ended in 1492. Jews, Hindus and Sikhs have all integrated into Western society.

"dharban ghayra mubarrih" which means "a light tap that leaves no mark". He further said that face must be avoided. Some other scholars say light touch by siwak, or toothbrush.

I really like your videos. You're also not allowed to wear head coverings in public buildings i.e the town hall. This ban on Hijab was used in Muslim cuntries like Turkey, Tunisia and even Syria in the 80s but didnt solve the probelm, in fact it caused more polarization in the society. You will end up with very secuar Muslims and very extreme ones. I doubt the ban will spread to all European countries because simply every country is different in a way or another. Plus people will challange it legally because its against human rights.

Christianity spread through Europe after the Roman invasion. Islam, Christianity and Judaism all started in the Middle-East - that would be NOT in Europe then. Catholic Spain was invaded by Muslims and this invasion ended in 1492. Jews, Hindus and Sikhs have all integrated into Western society.
