He's such a feel good story. He's an a-hole for the last 30 years and steals from people and pimps women, and does hard drugs and fathers multiple children he won't take care of, and he's rewarded with high paying jobs and tv appearances.

What it is is white guilt. It makes the super rich white people who run the media happy to trot out some lowlife black man and give him the keys to a shiny new life. It makes up for every time they pass a homeless man on the street and choose not to help.

Ted is a sweetheart and I really like him. He's so grateful and happy even for the little things. I am very proud of him inspite of his past, that's between him & heaven. However, he have very beautiful children and a nice looking mom. I feel that he deserves to be happy just like we all are. And I'm glad that he's able to get a decent job without his past life in the fore front. All that matters is he & his family's happiness.

I wish I could have gotten that phone number I would be calling ted everyday to pray for him and with him. I would tell him to take care of himself , and I love him. I don't care what people say about him he has a good heart. The bottom line is he made a mistake. I fault him for not sending money to support his kids, or go by to at least visit them. I don't know why he left so I can't fault him for that....ALCOHOLISM IS A DISEASE... I PRAY HE CONQUERS IT..BE STRONG TED..

What a SPECIAL person he is, I adore him!! He also sings bass GREAT too. I look forward to hearing a LOT of him everywhere and also in singing. I saw him sing on one of the shows, he's GREAT! I'd love to see him in a singing group like the Statler Brothers with him being the bass.

This guy is awesome, what a personality, hope he stays on track. I've been following this guy since the first video, it's even overwhelming for people watching how much has happened in such a short time i can't even imagine how he is feeling right now. After 2 decades I would have lost all faith, but I am amazed how he still had any hope left.
