We are RISING, not yet risen, we have some internal issues which we are massively working on very positively. @sufzyyyy i think india needs to be cautious but not cynical...ur comment borders on the latter side...US can't harm india because it needs us to counter china...also it needs the indian market to bring the US economy out of the gutter...what he said that day is completely true, indians and americans share common values but we also have our differences. The Indo-US partnership shall be the defining partnership of the 21st century...

India is a HUGE gift we nicely took from british after they united all the squabbling local kingdoms.. have you heard about east india company ? .. if brits had not united india, we would have been small fragmented land like middle east tormented by western powers. NOW, we are 1.25 BILLION UNITED INDIANs, no more fragmented kingdoms around. So yes, when once US is done with talibs, then comes pak .. then comes iran, and then india.. long mile to walk .. keep at it :D
